I wouldn’t recommend this establishment. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, but our server was quite slow with service. We placed our orders around 10:40 a.m., and our food didn’t arrive until about 12:00 p.m. During that time we were given several explanations for the delay, but multiple people who arrived after us were served their meals before we were. I’m not sure why this happened, but as a person of color(it appears we were the only poc there at the moment), the situation made me feel like the treatment may have been deliberate or intentional. I can’t say for certain that was the reason, but the experience left a bad impression.

This location was pretty good. Better than a denny’s but similarity in menu’s . We had a country fried steak with gravy on side and biscuits with gravy . The steak was good tasting and not dry. The gravy was well seasoned and good . The country potatoes were good as well. As far as the biscuits they were a little dry but still good. Ordered it with ham steak and egg whites.

Twice in one week as we’re becoming obsessed with the entrée salads. My sister craves the Asian Salad. A symphony of flavors and textures.. Crispy lettuce, cabbage, mandarins, peanuts and crispy wontons. I had the Watermelon Salad with Feta. Arugula. Avocado. Sunflower Seeds and the most flavorful dressing. Service was above and beyond from Brianna. I vote this location as the finest within the town of Ramona. I miss my hometown and this restaurant/bar/resort. It’s a beautiful golf course.

Dinner with friends. Last night we invited our friends for dinner at the Oaks Grille where we had gone before, and that time service was poor, the food was over and under cooked between the four meals. I did not respond in writing at that time. But last night I think people should know what they might be in for. I witnessed at a table with about a dozen people where the server/ waitress was taking their menus, and stated this was an old menu. I could see only one side of the menu had print, but this was after people were starting to order their dinner. I checked our menus and it showed to be correct. We put in our dinner order and gave the menus back to the server. After about 15 to 20 mins. one of my guests was told the item he ordered was no longer available, ok right? Another 5 to 10 mins. pass the server comes back very embarrassed and again states the other item was also not available. By now the other two party’s that came in 15 to 20 mins. after us were starting to be served. When our meals finally did show up one meal was undercooked and my wife’s meal was not there. As the clocked ticked we waited for my wife’s meal. At this point I had enough, got up form the table and expressed my disappointment with the late dinner and lack of good restaurant etiquette. Both of my guest are world travers and enjoy a good meal with good service. My wife and I come from fathers who loved to cook, one French the other Italian who had a fine restaurant, so we both have a taste for great food and service. By the time my wife’s meal showed up the other tables that came in after us were staring to leave done with their meal, as we started to eat our now cold dinner. On a good note our server/waitress was nice and showed to be sensitive to our situation, and offered a free desert on which we did decline. My meal was a good pizza, and my wife said her meal was very good. If this restaurant cared about good service where was the manager our server claimed to have talked to? For items on the menu but not available, cold food, lack of communication makes a very poor dinning experience again. ( One star )

I love their pizzas especially! I’ve tried a few pasta dishes as well and they’re always very good. Their desserts are so delicious and filling for the end of a meal. Staff is always very nice and friendly. Definitely recommend

We visited the grille several times during our stay at the resort.
The food is GREAT. Flavorful, hot, served correctly.
The restaurant is clean and inviting.
The view of the Golf course is beautiful.
The staff are incredibly friendly. We had Joy for breakfast both times and she couldn’t have been sweeter.
We will definitely be back.

The food IS good. The friendliness of the staff is average, but the service time is very POOR. Not the fault of the servers, they are WAY understaffed. Always wait too long for food and drinks (esp. cocktails). A great place to go if you have a couple of hours set aside for one meal.
