We stopped by The Nugget 2 Tavern in Laurel Springs and had a pretty good experience. The food was definitely the highlight. The mild wings were extra crispy and full of flavor, and the blue cheese that came with them was great. The nicely plated chicken cheesesteak egg rolls were really good too, and I loved that they use Liscio’s seeded bread for their sandwiches. It’s soft and fluffy on the outside with that perfect crunch on the outside of the chicken. Their hot honey sauce had a nice mix of sweet and spicy, and the fries were cooked perfectly.
Drinks were made well, and my cosmo looked great and tasted even better. The chicken quesadilla was stuffed with fillings, though I wasn’t really into the cream cheese on the side. Prefer sour cream. The salsa it came with was fresh and flavorful.
Service was quick and friendly, but the atmosphere felt a little awkward. There wasn’t any music playing, just TVs with an NBA on with commercials which made it a bit too quiet & odd. The pool tables seemed to be the main draw since people were playing constantly.
Overall, great food and drinks with friendly service. I just wish there was some background music or a livelier vibe inside because the food alone makes it worth coming back for.

I had high hopes for this place after years of hearing how great the Nugget’s wings were. Did I mess up by ordering take out? Was this an off night for them?
We ordered Hot honey wings and dry wings with the sauce on the side. Wings were small and over cooked. Not much more to say. We ordered loaded fries which were delicious and the kids devoured them. No one touched the short rib fries as the meat looked very dry. Petal onions were good and a nice alternative to onion rings. My husband said the longhots were okay. Oh and last but not least was the pizza that was not cooked all the way through. The young lady who took my call was very nice but won’t be back.

I like both of The Nugget locations but i prefer the Nugget 2 overall. Great affordable drinks & The Food is always on point. Bartenders always attentive & if you frequent there enough they remember exactly what you like to order whether food or drinks. This last time was there I ordered Wings (as always) and tried the Short Rib Fries. Both were 10/10!!! This place is my Go to when I’m visiting my GF & it’s only a 5 minute drive which makes it even better.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this is hands down the best bar I have been to ever. The food to the service and the atmosphere definitely hit my expectations. I came here a couple time before putting up my review and I would give it a 5stars every time. The food is great and the drinks are on point. Stop by have some wings or friends pickles and get yourself a drink

The owner and all the people there are incredible. The service is impeccable. It’s pristine inside. You feel like you’re at home the first time you walk it. I would recommend coming here 10 out or 10 times. The best bartender I’ve ever had was Tiffany. It’s a wonderful place. The only issue I had was the extreme rude entitle “local” heavy set guy with a grey beard 40 looked at least 50 no judgment. The owner asked me to help with a situation. This man’s reaction was to insult me and express in explicit language I was the problem with the country while talking loudly enough about me across the bar I could hear each insult. Jimmy is wonderful I wouldn’t let an insure individual keep me from coming to a wonderful place. I just hope if clientele asks like that when people have been nothing but respectful to everyone around them that they learn that they don’t know everything in the world or who people are. Thank you Jimmy and Tiffany I wish for nothing but success for those who are kind. I appreciate kindness bases off of the environment I came from and this place is different and I understand and appreciate the difference and in an extremely kind litigious manner certain people who grow up in bad areas can be built different than the “drunk local”. Mid. We got wings, quesadillas, and mini panzarottis and it was all average. Wings were for a 5 yr old they were super small. Like really small! Won’t be returning.

My experience at The Golden Nugget 2 was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share. My visit was unfortunately marked by extremely rude and unprofessional behavior from one of the waitresses, Amber.
From the moment we arrived, Amber made it clear she didn’t want us sitting in a particular area. Rather than kindly asking us to move or offering an explanation, she was curt and visibly annoyed throughout the evening. Her attitude created an uncomfortable atmosphere for our group.
The situation escalated when she tossed a DoorDash order — that wasn’t even mine — at me while I was sitting down. When I confronted her about her behavior, she completely denied any wrongdoing and told me I could leave if I didn’t like it.
It’s a shame because the bar itself seems like it could be a decent local spot, but the service I received was unacceptable. I hope management takes this kind of feedback seriously — customers deserve to be treated with basic respect and courtesy.

Got wings for takeout before the Eagles game today. Service was prompt, food was ready earlier than anticipated and everything was delicious! Just like the original, only closer to home for me! I even got hit with a “GO BIRDS” on my way out the door keep up the great work!
