This is a great local place with fantastic burgers, fries, and salads. The wait staff is friendly and there is always a game or two on. There is an outdoor area in the summer too. Great spot!

This was my second time in, and it was just as good as the first.

The Whiskey BBQ burger was well-built, the meat was juicy and tender, and the bacon was cooked beautifully. The tater tots were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just a lovely cloud of crunch. The fried pickle spears were crispy on the outside and just juicy enough that you get a small added bonus of pickle juice to complement the crunch. Paired with the crispy onions and house aioli, it was an explosion of flavor that I definitely would order a second plate of if I wasn’t so full.

When they say they’re an upscale pub, they definitely back it up.

Friendly and attentive servers, and a beautiful concept of a restaurant, The Northern is definitely a hidden treasure in Mill Creek.

The cooking oil tasted stale and rancid, which made the food extremely unpleasant. The prices are inflated, and the quality does not justify the cost. The building itself also had a strong, old, musty odor.

A very standard restaurant/bar that didn’t really stand out in any way. I didn’t feel like there was anything that made this place different from any burger bar options in the area. Burgers were good but the buns are a little airy as you can see in the photo. Totchoes were worth the tater-lag you get from early too many potatoes. Might stop in again in the future but if I’m looking for a burger in the town center, I’ll probably stop at Blazing Onion instead.

Side note: please use normal size plates. I shouldn’t have to worry about tater tots or fries falling off my plate when I try to pick up the burger.

Great pub eatery and the service was great for a weekend afternoon. We just sat at the bar and the bartender was nice. He was busy but still served us well! Average food for your typical pub. Nothing to complain about. Decent food and good spot to watch sports!

Northern Public House in Mill Creek is a cozy spot with great service and good food—I’ve enjoyed their wings, burgers, fries, salads, and they have a great selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. Right in town center—perfect for locals and visitors

Decent burgers, though a little sad that you can’t customize and the patty will arrive medium-well to you by default. Spicy burger is barely spicy, though rather tasty.
I really liked their Old Fashioned, very well balanced and smooth.
Overall, nice spot, pleasant servers, decent food, but nothing outstanding. Not sure why, but music only can be heard around one TV in the middle, almost quiet in other spots, though I’d prefer music over random hockey game.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a bad tip. First time for everything. I also pour beer as a job so leaving a bad tip is very taboo, but this was worthy of it. The service is usually horrendous unless the dark haired taller guy is working. People look like they hate working there. This place is actually kinda depressing to be in. I will probably be back just based on convenience but who knows.

We dropped by Northern for a flight. I chose a raspberry lime beer and a ginger lime cider and he chose a couple of IPA’s (that were too bitter for me!)
Their menu is available through a QR code and easily accessible. Their beers are all IBU rated, which was helpful in getting something we’d like.
We sat outside in the patio area and there was plenty of room between us and other patrons. I’m planning to go back to see how their food is. Mo

Nice restaurant and good food. I had the shrimp and fries and my wife had the burger and instead of fries she had a salad. It is Easter Sunday so the place was not as busy as I’ve seen it in the past. Our server was the bartender and he gave us good service. The food was tasty and we enjoyed seeing all the games on the screen. From American football to the Mariners baseball game and women’s collegiate lacrosse. Overall the eating experience was good. I recommend this restaurant.
