In the Winter months enjoy a guided evening of snowshoeing through the star lit forest of Soldier Hollow, to a warm inviting yurt. Here we will be preparing a private fine dining experience with a 4 course meal, an intimate fire, where you can spend the evening making S’mores with friends and family! Join us in the Summer for our hike in BBQ dinners! Also in the Summer months we offer a guided fly fishing experience with some of the most experienced guides on the river! We offer half day and full day excursions. Whether you are a first time angler or have years of experience we will create an unforgettable fishing experience around your needs!

Bryan and Kate were incredible and took such good care of us. I was proposing to my girlfriend and they went out of their way to accommodate us, even setting up a little area for us outside the yurt while we ate. Our server, Claire, was so sweet and chatted with us throughout the night. The food was delicious and the views and ambiance were absolutely unbeatable. We spent a while on the deck under the warmers and by the fire pit, just chatting and taking in the moon-lit views. Even without snow (it was a short hike for us rather than a snowshoe trip), I would still do it again in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a cozy, upscale, one-of-a-kind dinner experience, you’d be crazy not to pick the Nordic Yurt.

The yurt experience is 2nd to none in the Heber/Park City area. We had the greatest of times with myself and my closest friends. The food was excellent with red wine braised short ribs that were perfect, the starter butternut squash soup was smooth and so flavorful too.
I got to celebrate my 43rd birthday here at the yurt and they took the extra steps with a big cake and the entire yurt ended up singing Happy Birthday to me.
Highly recommend…. I’ll be going back!

Such a fun experience for a group! Snowshoe was very manageable distance and great way to start/end the night. The staff was professional, kind, and helpful. The food was delicious, fresh, and filling. Highly suggest this for anyone looking for a memorable evening experience

i’ve lived in PC for five years, but this was my first trip to the nordic yurt. there were 12 in my group and everyone from hunter and amy the snowshoe guides to claire and the other servers in the yurt could not have been more hospitable. the hike was relatively short and easy enough for all of our flatland friends lol. the food and service were outstanding. and the ambiance and coziness of the yurt itself (bonfire! marshmallows! candlelight!) made for the perfect winter adventure. 10/10 recommend!

Do not pass up on this place!! We did an experience here with a group of 12 girls and it was truly memorable! Kate and her whole team (our servers and snowshoe guild) were next level. So accommodating, fun, and welcoming. The food was amazing, s’mores over the fire, good music, warm blankets, cozy vibes. 100% will be coming back next time I’m in the Park City area. 10/10 experience

This excursion was my favorite evening of our spring break trip this year. We had never been snowshoeing before, and this was a great way to give it a try. The snowshoeing to the Yurt was a fun adventure – not too difficult, but gave us a mini-workout before we set down to the delicious 4-course dinner. The staff (extra special shout out to Claire!) were amazing – friendly and informative. They gave us a great run down of the dinner courses which were all sourced from local businesses. We had plenty of time between courses to hang outside on the deck by the fire pits, talk with our friends and enjoy the gorgeous views of the Heber Valley. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone that loves to get out in nature, try something new and enjoy fantastic food and atmosphere!

We had such a great experience with the Nordic Yurt for New Year’s Eve. My son booked the snowshoe dinner for himself and his girlfriend with the intention of proposing to her. Brian and Kate and their staff were amazing and went out of their way to help make it happen. They allowed us to go up with them prior to the dinner and set up a few things, then they set up the rest during dinner and filmed and took pictures of the big moment. I would definitely recommend the Nordic Yurt to anyone looking for a unique experience with great service. Thanks again! You guys are amazing!

We had the best time! I had organized 15 couples for a Valentine’s dinner and Kate and WAO Nordic Yurt exceeded our expectations! It was a cold but absolutely gorgeous night! The snowshoeing portion was absolutely perfect. It gave us the feel of actually trekking into the yurt without it being too strenuous. The snowshoe equipment was fantastic and stayed on all of our feet! The yurt was really nice and the fireplaces outside were so nice. Many of my friends said this was one of the best experiences of their lives! We are already scheming up our next visit!

Always such a fun experience at the Nordic Yurt! The service is always top notch and the vibe/ambiance is the coolest! Really fun if you have a group of friends with you. If there isn’t snow it is still so fun hiking up. I’ve done it 3 times and every experience has been a blast.
