Great athmosphere and friendly staff. Good drink and cocktails selection. The food is very good and tasty. You can ask to get spices on the side if you are not into the spicy dishes. Highly recommend for a date.

Wow, this meal was delicious! Food options are labeled well for those with allergies or intolerances with several Gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan choices. There were so many amazing options to choose from, and each meal that passed our table looked delicious. We went with the jerk chicken wings (GF) for an appetizer. They were generous sized wings with a nice crunch on the outside. Could definitely serve as a meal if someone wasn’t too hungry. I had the ramen with chicken. It had a nice spicy crunch to it with chili flakes and peanuts. My wife had the green curry with chicken and loved it. I tried a bite and it was wonderful! A nice spice mixed with sour from a lime and cilantro and the creamy spiciness from the curry

I wanted to try The Nomad for a while and went this week for my birthday dinner. Our appetizer (Thai cauliflower) came out quickly, well before our cocktails. The southern mule cocktail tasted like straight club soda with none of the depth of flavors mentioned. Our entrees were quick to arrive as well – the garlic ramen noodle dish was good and the Thai steak bowl needed more veg to justify the price.

Wow, just wow. A friend and I ate at Nomad last night, and it was truly fabulous. The Brussel sprouts are among the best I’ve eaten (top two of all time, tied with Vivace), and the green curry fish was wonderful too. The service was super warm and friendly. We will definitely be coming back. It’s even worth the drive from Raleigh.

A wonderful fusion of world cuisine, and a regularly changing menu with several staples, and vegetarian friendly. The dining room is open and airy, but I almost always order takeout – It is super convenient.

We tried The Nomad for dinner service tonight. Overall it was a good experience. The food was all fresh and hot when it came out. Portion sizes were generous. Service was a bit slow but like most places they seem understaffed. I was not a fan of the lighting in the restaurant, older people in my party had difficulty reading the menu due to how dim it was.

Since they opened up for takeout in the midst of a pandemic we have been enjoying the amazing food from Nomad. We were so excited to see that they were finally opening up the dining room for properly socially distanced dinner. The space is gorgeous and a wonderful addition to downtown Hillsborough. We started with drinks; we tried the Palomo (a gin take on the classic), and the pineapple sage jalapeño vodka cocktail. They were both delicious and refreshing. For appetizers we had the Red Thai cauliflower, which is one of the best dishes I’ve had from Nomad (that saying something because everything is so good), and the Puruvian chicken kolaches. Both were big hits with the group. For main courses my wife had the spiced pork bowl, which had been her go to for takeout, and I had the Besan Battered Cod tacos while my Brother in law had the ropa vieja tacos. Everything was as tasty as we have come to expect from the Nomad kitchen. Keep up the great work and welcome to Hilsborough Nomad. So happy to have you.

The food was incredible and the service was great. Our server Nick was friendly and knowledgeable, he helped us choose some amazing dishes. This restaurant is definitely worth going out of your way to eat here. We ordered a few small dishes and a dessert. I’m looking forward to trying the rest of the menu soon!
