I’ve been here twice now and completely agree with all the great things people say. The cheese curds are my favorite — lightly breaded, super crispy, and even when a little cheese escapes, the breading is still delicious to crunch on.
We’ve tried a variety of items. The chicken wings were huge and a bit messy, but I found out you can ask for them to be cut up before cooking — definitely doing that next time! My husband had the sausage link sandwich and said it had plenty of spice (and he really likes spicy food). One of my kids had the spaghetti sandwich and said it was amazing, and my other daughter loved her burger.
On our second visit, we had to get the cheese curds again, of course. I tried the steak sandwich, which was delicious — I might ask for a little extra sauce next time, but it was still really good. My friend ordered the spaghetti sandwich and loved it, and she had broccoli on the side, which impressed us both. It wasn’t frozen or soggy — it was actually really well prepared.
The only confusing part was the side dishes. On our first visit about four weeks ago, my kiddo chose waffle fries with her spaghetti sandwich, and we weren’t told there was an upcharge. On our most recent visit, my friend ordered the same sandwich, was offered two sides, and wasn’t charged extra. It seems the staff could use a little more clarity on how the side options work, and it would help to notify customers if certain sides come with an additional cost. For example, I ordered the steak sandwich last time and wasn’t charged extra for waffle fries.
Overall, great food, generous portions, fair pricing, and I really appreciate seeing the owner present and involved in the business. We’ll definitely be back!

We decided to try NOB for a Friday night fish fry after seeing the mixed reviews and wanting to judge for ourselves. While the fish had a good flavor and a nice batter, the portion size didn’t match the price. We were honestly so surprised by how small the serving was that we didn’t even notice the coleslaw was missing until later.
It was fairly busy when we arrived, but even after the crowd thinned out, the wait for both our appetizer and entrées was longer than expected. We also ordered the Nashville Hot cheese curds based on other reviews, but those were another letdown—the seasoning was tasty, but most of the curds were overcooked, leaving mostly fried batter and only a handful of actual cheese pieces.
Overall, we probably wouldn’t return for the fish fry, but we’re open to giving the place another shot for burgers. We usually like to try a restaurant twice before making up our minds, so we’ll be back eventually, just not right away.

Great Neighborhood Bar!!!
We have heard a lot about this place, so finally stopped in to eat. We ordered the DC Wings with spicy Mumbo sauce, fried catfish, the DC Steak and Cheese – Catfish battered and cooked perfectly just like I use to eat it growing up. Our fan favorite was the steak sandwich, we will definitely be back for that (and a cobb salad, saw one going to another table)
DC Wings was the only thing I remembered to snap a pic of – they were huge and battered like fried chicken. Definitely not what we were expecting, but still prepared obviously to their perfection. Mumbo sauce was smokey, sweet and spicy – could have used a wider sauce cup for dunking the giant chicken wings…or maybe we should have drizzled it.
Absolutely amazing food and our waitress was friendly too. I believe the chef/manager came to ensure we enjoyed everything too. Really happy to see this in our community!

Heard about NOB when they joined the local chamber of Commerce so we were happy to find out they are both community minded AND good cooks. Loved my huge salad…burger was thick and made to order…waffle fries nice. Hubby loved his “works” smoked sausage and can’t wait to come again. Good parking and right off Hwy 151.

We decided to give this new place a chance. The burgers were exceptional for the price. You can really taste that it’s not just ground chuck. The spaghetti sandwich is tasty and has the right ratio of sauce to pasta. The cheese curds were a disappointment. They look home made, but the majority were just empty shells. They don’t have the fryer dialed in so most/all of the cheese leaked out. We’ll likely come back, just skip the curds next time.

Burgers thin pre-pattied, asked for medium rare but it was overcooked. Asked for the works, lettuce leaf wasn’t fresh, very little pickle & no onions. No choice for cheese. Tastes like a fast food burger. Coleslaw tasted like mayonnaise very bland. Catfish had a heavy coating of cornmeal that was not good. Cheese curds were tasty but many pieces were just fried batter no cheese, it needs to be quality control. French fries were good. Server was nice but not attentive on drinks. Not many options for vegetarians. Space is loud and cafeteria feeling. Will try again after they workout the kinks.

Food was excellent. Recommend the cheese curds and pan seared cod. Cheeseburgers were large and fries were cooked well.
They have several video poker games and pull tabs (we didn’t do well, left the winners for you). Dining room was clean and had a lot of TVs. Would be good for game day.
Service was extremely (abysmally) slow. It took 15-20 minutes to get a first visit and then we sat for 45 minutes before our server checked back (after we flagged done another server). We saw her on the other end of the restaurant talking to other servers. It did not appear she was slammed with tables. She was polite/nice but needs someone to give her coaching. Her gum almost fell out when taking our order. It took about 75-80 to get fish fry and burgers. A backed up kitchen is understandable on a Friday night. Not checking on your tables is not.
It has not been open long so hopefully owner/manager improves the customer service. They could easily be 4.6-4.8. Very fixable.

We just got back from Nob. We had a great experience! The food and service were fantastic. Cheese curds, fried pickles for apps, fish, wings and prime rib sandwich for dinners. Everyone loved their food. Fresh with house made batter and breading. Our waitress Nadia was wonderful! Would highly recommend!
