Nice place to go and enjoy Chinese food, we opted for the outdoor seating, it was very nice and well decorated.
Portion sizes are big enough to have leftovers.
If you just want take-away, they have that available on the ground floor.

This Chinese restaurant offers several rooms with large tables. Our group of 15 dined at a large table with a huge lazy Susan in the center. We ordered family style with items brought out slowly but surely. Jasmine tea started off the night.
We enjoyed pork, orange chicken, beef, duck, dim sum, and huge breaded shrimp. The tea cups didn’t come out for all of us at the same time. We had to ask several to

The outside seating is beautiful and breezy when we went for lunch. The waiter was pleasant however the waitress was so rude/with attitude like she couldn’t care to be there. Two of the foods came on time. However, the 3rd meal took over 70 mins and came out as we were about to leave, so we had to cancel that. Good foods and atmosphere, but services need lots of improvement.

Service was great atmosphere was great restaurants was beautiful.
But the food no flavor, no taste, they just put it together and that was it. My first time going there. Please change the chef. I was expecting better from what I got…. I will go back in a few months for round two please cook it better thank you.

I visited this restaurant years ago when it first opened and had a great experience, so I was really disappointed when I returned recently. Unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill.

The food was honestly terrible. The duck arrived barely warm, tough, and chewy almost impossible to enjoy. The rice and noodles tasted like they were just fried in oil with no seasoning at all. There was no real flavour in any of the dishes.

The overall environment also needs attention. The staircase leading up to the restaurant was dirty, and the displays looked neglected and in need of a full cleanup. It doesn’t reflect well on the business.

I really wanted to enjoy my meal, especially after remembering how good it used to be, but this place has changed a lot and not for the better. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it. There are plenty of better options nearby that are worth your time and money.

Walking into the restaurant, the vibe and the decor looked nice! I’ve been here before when they first opened up, when the experience was great! Today I’m here again. The decor is still nice, however the quality of food and service has gone way down! Every dish we ordered, came out cold, barely lukewarm! Once they brought the food, not another word or check in from the waiting staff to see if we’re okay. I mentioned the food temperature to the waiter, who shrugged it off and walked away. Very disappointing dining experience.

The food was very good and at a good price. Shout out to usman an excellent server who deserves a raise. He kept checking in on us and was extremely proactive. An overall excellent eating experience and quality.

Service was good, the waiter was quick and helpful with suggestions/recommendations, the dishes came out fast as well – although it was also not busy when we were there.

The roast chicken was delicious, however I believe the vegetable fried rice was nothing above average – there’s definitely better tasting Chinese fried rice around Guyana that’s also more affordable.

Conveniently located at Providence.

This location is near the Ramada hotel and shopping center. It’s a very impressive spacious restaurant. There is only indoor sitting ( the other in main Street has also a big balcony). The seats are very comfortable and one can choose to sit at a table with rotating top. This rotating top table is a good choice if you want to share the dishes, one can rotate the top and access the dishes. The quality and quantity is consistent. The service is very good and a bit quicker that the other restaurant on the main road. There is no entrance for disabled person and no elevator. The price quality ratio is good

I just can’t give the restaurant less than 5 stars.
I returned home to Guyana after about 20 years to find that there was a new location, where the food was apparently better than its current sister restaurant.
I ate at both and found that to be true!
I was shocked that after almost 2 decades, the deliciousness and familiarity was not lost. I got the steamed garlic prawns and fried rice- each was good, especially the prawns which was simply cooked yet very delicious. The pepper sauce still remains the star of the show for me.
My husband got the deep fried chicken and that too was very good.
I will definitely visit again once I make my way back home in the future.
The only thing I’d change, is some of the decor which ends up looking like a grand vomit of various elements of design.
