The best seafood I’ve had, hands down. 4 of us went and ordered quite a variety of meals and appetizers. Every single item was the best tasting version of whatever it was that all of us had. We make an annual trip to the area, and this will always be a stop on the list for the foreseeable future.

The Net on Highlands Road in Franklin, NC provides a great meal and excellent service! The rib eyes are super tender and juicy, the collards are as good as this southern raised gal could ever make, and the shrimp scampi is totally yummy! Music from the 60s and 70s playing softly, pretty decor, and lots of happy, well fed guests! Y’all go see them soon…you won’t regret it.

Megan and Amanda great servers. Other employees very welcoming. Calabash shrimp was excellent. Creamed corn best ever. Coleslaw great. Fried green tomatoes excellent. Seafood dip good and cold boiled shrimp was great. First Coke tasted off Megan switched it for a fresh batch on the machine. Continual come refills. Took coconut cake home it’s gonna be great. I w6 like to have had a beer or two with dinner hope that’s coming soon. We will definitely be back. Love hush puppies bet yours are delicious would prefer them over the cheese biscuit I bet.

The Net is the best food in North Carolina! If you are visiting Franklin or the surrounding areas you absolutely must try this place! The Cherry Balsamic whitefish is quite possibly the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted. Clam chowder, collard greens, cheese grits, banana pudding are most definitely the best I’ve had in my life. Everything is made from scratch. The chef is 1 in a million! Also, we always request Amanda as our server- she’s amazing! 5/5 Highly Recommend and can’t wait to go back in October!

My friends and I ate here Friday night (08/18/2023). While the food was very good and our sweet waitress Megan was wonderful – the experience was overshadowed by the manager Amanda. Megan came to take our orders and while in the middle of taking it, Amanda put her hand up to my friend and stopped her mid sentence and said stop ✋ right there – Megan I told you to clean that table . Then Amanda said she will be back when she is done. No apology for being rude and she embarrassed Megan. So we waited . Then she had Megan clean one of her tables too! It took about 20-25 min before she returned because by then several orders were ready and she had to deliver them . Megan apologized profusely – not her fault . I was a manager – proper etiquette would have been to let her finish the order then call her over and say next time , clean the table first . You DON’T embarrass your employees. I asked to speak to the owner. He , Ray, finally came over after we ate – He only made excuses for Amanda – He never apologized either. Ray said that Amanda was the manager and she ran the restaurant as she saw fit . Again, the customer is right – you don’t argue. He should have apologized to us and even if he wasn’t going to -at least say he would talk to Amanda. Ray, you have a gem in Megan – you had better wise up and treat her right or you will lose a great employee and wise up and speak to Ananda who is clearly on a power trip or your business will suffer .

When I say I was super happy and impressed, I absolutely mean it!!! I moved to this area about a year ago and have been wanting some good fried catfish and I finally found it. The food was hot and fresh. I had collard greens and loaded mashed potatoes for the sides. They were just right. This was some of the best southern homemade cooking I’ve had in a long time. I will definitely be going back.

What a sweet gem in Franklin! Went there this evening with friends and had a most delicious dinner. The fried shrimp & crab cakes were so yummy. Everything was fresh & cooked to order, the service was top notch and the banana pudding was to die for. Definitely recommend The Net if you live in Franklin or are just visiting. Win Win.

All the food is made from scratch fresh and seafood is hand breaded per order, not pre-breaded and frozen. Clam chowder is the best I’ve ever had. Desserts are amazing. Restaurant is beautiful and comfortable ambience. Service is unparalleled.

I celebrated my 44 birthday there with 14 of my family and friends, and it was amazing! They accommodated us very easily, and got our drinks and orders out to us right away. The food was piping hot and delicious. I will definitely be returning as well as everybody else.
