This is a cozy little coffee shop. They have many comfortable seating options. They have a nice menu with many different drinks to choose from. We also got one of their cookies that one very good. The place is kept very clean and well maintained. The workers were very friendly and helpful.

This is my favorite local coffee shop. It has been the perfect place for meeting friends. I enjoy the fact that it never seems to be overcrowded. I have always been able to get a chair and or table for two. The coffee is really good. Not the absolute finest in town (I still prefer Seeds or East 59 in Hoover), but still something to look forward to. The service is always super pleasant.

Just a really fantastic, local coffee shop. It’s one of the main places I prefer to visit whenever in the mood for hot caramel apple cider (or coffee, if you’re more adult ), and just to relax for a few minutes and leave the noisy outside world behind for a bit. The staff are always personable, the food and drinks great, the chairs cozy and comfortable, and the atmosphere welcoming and just chill. I live quite a bit away, but it’s still very much worth the travel.

This is my favorite coffee place! It is locally owned with really friendly staff. I’ve never had bad service, food or drink there. It is a great place to meet friends, do work or study. I much prefer it over Starbucks except that sometimes it’s closed when I want to go there.

Crowded seating —popular with laptop users and small informal meetings. Location seems to attract a crowd any time of day.
Coffee is good..but plain and lacks a unique flavor. Will disappoint those who prefer a bold taste.
Atmosphere very nice as the paintings that line the walls are for sale.

The Neighborhood brew is such a fantastic place to the locals on valleydale road. Every time I find enough pocket change, or learn that I have enough spot-on points I find myself ecstatic with joy. The quality of both the drinks and the staff are top notch, and matched well with the atmosphere of the shop. I’ve had some of the best study sessions as a college student at The Neighborhood Brew, and to reward myself they carry some of my favorite beers! If you’re in the neighborhood I would definitely recommend stopping by for a drink or a bite to eat.

Yes, 5 stars for the Neighborhood Brew! This is exactly what our area has needed for a very long time. Love the lattes and the amazing environment. Great job! Look forward to each time I’m able to schedule a meeting there. This is all around a well run small business.

I live in Jacksonville, FL and stopped in here while on an “evacuation vacation” from Irma. Great people and great atmosphere here. We had 4 dogs and 8 people. Plenty of outside tables and umbrellas for shade. My wife was able to get a good coffee and I could enjoy some local craft beer. Win-win! The bar staff was friendly and we talked for a while about the area and our trip. Good hangout spot, I highly recommend!

This is like the Oak Mountain area version of Cheers! The baristas are very nice and there are several “regulars” that can be found in there every day. The coffee is excellent, and the atmosphere very laid-back. I like meeting clients here or having small group meetings for things like planning showers, Bible Studies, etc. There is wi-fi, so it is also a nice remote office on occasion. I would much rather support this local coffee shop than one of the national franchises.
