What a wonderful surprise! Hubs & I were in DT Newport & stepped in for lunch. Thinking it was going to be your average bar food, boy were we wrong. The food was delicious. We shared a cheeseburger (The Relic) & a fried chicken sandwich (The Clifton), both with all the fixings and cooked perfect. They come with a side of fries, but we paid the extra $2.99 for Parm Truffle fries & they were Delicious (worth the trip in). They also have a great beer selection & I got a delicious Blackstone Nut Brown.
Our server Breanna was so kind and right there when you needed her.
We highly recommend & look forward to returning to try out some of the other things on their varied menu. They are in a cool old building DT too (with big clean bathrooms) Just a great experience.

Placed a to-go order for Burger w/ fries and a sweet and spicy dip. When placing the order the employee taking the order said they were out of cheese sticks and potato skins but did have the sweet and spicy dip and other appetizers. After getting there to pickup the order I was told they were also out of bacon jam but it was substituted. Once getting to work and opening the order I was given a box of bread and whatever salad toppings they had in the kitchen for $10 lol

As a local I wanted to try it a few times before writing this review. The first time was awful. The food was awful and the service was even worse.
They do not address you when you arrive. You kinda just wait by the door. Once seated you wait again for quite some time.
No there is never a lot of people when we have been.
The food is just mediocre for our family.
Our last visit will be our last. My 76 year old mom was not able to order off the kids menu which is just crappy in my opinion. She did not want to waste food as she doesn’t eat that much. The waitress told us to take it up with corp.
And my husband’s alcohol drink was $13 and wasn’t even half a glass.
All our food was cold.
Never again for our family.

Found the restaurant on Google of course while we were riding. Everyone talked about the mozzarella sticks, burgers and wings. That is what we went for got the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. I have to say they excellent extremely large and stuffed full of cheese. The bbq wings was a ooey gooey mess but cooked perfectly with a great flavor. They were the kind that krunch when you bite into them. They bring out homemade house chips and onion straws when you sit down. I almost forgot boo loved the onion straws and I loved the chips. They were on the salty side which I had no problem with. Boo got an burger with an egg and tater tots. He said they were both delicious and the tater tots tasted like bacon. I tried one I did not taste it but thats why we all different. The only complaint I have is our waiter was slow on the refills. I drink a lot I know its a problem. I had to get up and ask for a refill. It was kinds slow in there but still you should not ever have to chase down a refill. That’s why we always tip well. I know I drink a lot and and we are a conimendant family. Our children is and have been servers in the past.

This is very middle of the way. It depends on what you get, but even then, it’s not worth the price. The cheese sticks were very good. The truffle fries and farm house burger were below par. The farm house burger was dripping with oil. The service was also just fine, nothing bad to say. Nice atmosphere.

Wow talk about a hidden gem in East Tennessee! The best mozzarella sticks period, amazing burgers and great beers! Oh and the kids menu…it’s just as good!
Anna our server was the best, she was funny and gave us the best recommendations on the menu!
We were just passing through, during a trip, we’ll be back even if we have to go out of our way to come back!

We went for the first time with some friends Saturday night and had a low-key celebration of our anniversary. Didn’t get any pics of the food, but everything was amazing! Our friends have been several times and they said they’ve never had a bad experience! The Smoky Mountain special was delicious as was the Highlands red ale. The icing on the cake was live music with Sammy Schultz! We will definitely go back as often as possible!

Came here with my family as we were in town on a family vacation. My wife found this place and I am so happy she did. I can not sing its praises enough. The food was amazing and had large portion sizes. I did not have them but I saw the cheese sticks and they were huge like the size of a soda can. I had the fried hot dogs which I had never had before and they were awesome. The chicken tenders were some of the best I have ever had and the tater tots were great. They bring out in house made chips for you while you wait on your food and their desert menu looks great. I was too full so I couldn’t have any but I will have to make a trip back out here to try the matilda cake. The whole place looks very cool too, it used to be a tool store and they still have some of the old tools and equipment there. They even have the old wooden storage area for the nuts, bolts, screws etc, very cool to see and a piece of american history. 15/10 I would highly recommend.
