Was not what I was expecting. For the prices, the food was not that great. The Green Goddess salad taste like mint (only) the burger was dense with NO flavor. The tater tots were soaked in dried spice. I would not return here again.

This was my first time here, the service was fast and the food tasted good. There is a lot to choose from, there was a lot of variety on the menu. If you’d like to try smaller portions, they have a happy hour.

Location, service, and atmosphere were great. Food wasn’t bad. The steak was overcooked for what I ordered. The flavor of the food was great. We did not come at a busy time, and I was disappointed that the steaks were not cooked (ordered med rare and were well done) correctly, especially at almost 50.00 a steak

This place is billed as the toast of the town. The service and happy hour were great, but the food was something else entirely. The dinner salad I had wasn’t on par with what most cafeterias offer, in fairness. My Margherita pizza had the taste and texture of a supermarket frozen rendition. The only difference was there were a couple of slices of tomato on it that were fresh. The atmosphere was nonexistent – scored concrete floors with Mom and Pop table and chair set-ups. No matter what – tip your servers well, folks!

My partner and I were in town for a wedding and stumbled upon The Nash for a quick lunch. The service was attentive, friendly and helpful, cocktails were great and the food was fabulous, especially the egg appetizer!! I can’t recommend the eggs enough, I wish I could eat them every day! We ended up leaving our credit card in the booklet and didn’t realize it until we’d left the city, but we called and the staff was so nice and are actually going to mail the card to our house. This restaurant is a 10/10 across the board!

If you in Houston must visit The Nash. In evening booking needed very busy and hot in town. Thank you chef for amazing cooking. Must try devils egg in appetizer, mushroom risotto as side and fresh salad. They got herbal tea selection and the best wine. The bartender was very charming and welcoming person. Love to visit again.

Nice ambience. Great location downtown. Blend of high class and low brow food. $$$$ steaks or $16 Nash burger…which was perfect! Other unusual is tater tot bowl with green goddess dressing and light sprinkle of cheese…coulda been warmer. ‘The Nash’ cocktail is good Texas whiskey and sweet vermouth…and recommended.
