However, we went again for the third time with some friends recently and the service was all over the place. I don’t think their current system works well at all (pressing the button for service) because it caused so much confusion for the waiters to get some of our orders to our tables. It took more than 30 minutes to get my tea!
When it was time to pay for our meals, one of the waiters gave us the machine to split the bill ourselves and then left us with it so we spent about 20 minutes looking at the receipt and inputting what meals each of us had to pay for. Needless to say, we were not happy about having to do that at all.
I really like the food there. It’s delicious and I had a good impression of the restaurant up until the third time I went to eat. I just don’t think their system works well and hope they change it.
For starters, we had the potato croquettes and the Korean fried dumplings. The croquettes were nice and crunchy on the outside while the potato was super creamy and smooth inside. The fried dumplings were also super tasty (we ordered beef). It came with a little salad in the middle with some creamy and sweet ginger dressing. Honestly couldn’t get enough.
For our entrees, I had the japanese curry with a chicken cutlet and my husband ordered the korean ramen with pork, a beef dumpling and an egg. Everything was super delicious!
Lastly, we had the mochi ice cream. I asked for all 3 flavors, but I guess they only had strawberry and vanilla at the time. Still very good and would recommend everything we ate.
Also wish I caught the name of the waitress there (all the staff was friendly), but I feel like she was a Rockstar at her job – from greeting customers, to seating them, taking orders – pretty sure she answered the phone when I called to check if I needed to make a reservation the day before (she said for 2 people that I didn’t, could just walk in). They also have a button at each table to summon some assistance – very convenient. Wish most places were like that!
They have a buzzer system where it’s pressed when you need service. They have plenty of Korean and Japanese food options.
Had the passion fruit refresher and it was great. My husband had hot tea which was also good.
We got Korean fried chicken, spicy level, which was not spicy. Next time, we will do the level above that one. We got the hot stone bibimbap, spicy pork and bulgogi. Served hot with a side of sauces, it was very filling.
Overall, a good first impression.
Our waitress, Jojo, was wonderful — so patient with us and gave great recommendations. Such a great experience; we’ll definitely be back!
One unique touch is the mini supermarket inside, stocked with items from back home, which adds a cozy, nostalgic vibe. The background music and beautiful decor create such a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Now, the food — where do I even start? Every single dish was spectacular. It’s honestly hard to pick a favorite because everything exceeded my expectations. The flavors were rich, authentic, and absolutely delicious. I left feeling beyond satisfied!
