The man that served me was very kind and respectful. I got fufu and egusi with jollof rice on the side and it was amazing. The goat meat in the egusi was incredible and the wait for the food was only about 20 minutes.

We got fufu and egusi with beef here and it was phenomenal!!!! The service was great the man who served us and took our order was very kind! Just note that there is NO dine in option, it is takeout only I believe. I recommend either the pounded yam or plantain fufu, and be sure to get some meat with your meal as well as it is very tender and soft! The pricing is very affordable and one serving of the fufu and egusi was enough to fill up 2 people from my experience as it is very filling. That would be $10 per person! We will be back!

For my first time being here the food was really good. The goat was tender, the jollof rice was amazing, plantains aren’t my thing but I enjoyed them with others part of the food. My partner got the spinach and egusi stew with fufu and loved it immediately. Overall a great experience. Alittle to much for spice for me to be honest but it was too good to stop eating due to how flavorful it was. I would definitely come back and recommend to others.

I drove over a half hour to try the spinach and egusi soup with fufu. It was so good. I loved the spice and the flavor. The goat meat was tender and flavorful. Service was fast. The man was busy working the back and the front. Everyone who came in he treated with kindness and a smile on his face. I will have to try more food from here

Honestly disappointed. Ordered at 2pm on uber for pick up, got to the place at 3pm and was told 7mins for the fish. Didn’t walk out with my food until 4pm. Wanted oxtail in my egusi got beef instead, didn’t get my jollof rice at all, ordered grilled snapper got baked stewed snapper instead. The person at the counter was nice but I honestly ate a little of the fish and threw it all away when I got home $64 in the trash. First and last time there.

Kwame is the definition of great customer service. Originally (with their previous chef) the first time I ordered, I didnt have the best experience with the food. I came back to let him know and he made it up to me by giving me the Egusi stew with goat meat and fufu on the house. I’ll tell you, I couldnt stop eating it. The portions they have are huge and truly it could’ve been 2-3 meals on its own but whatever blessings they put in that food kept me going. Needless to say, their new chef and Kwame’s dedication to make things right definitely redeemed themselves. I will be coming back with an empty stomach and recommend this carry out spot as a local staple that you need to visit. Thank you Kwame

I wish I lived closer because I would absolutely order more from The Mukase Restaurant if I did. The 40 minute drive here is totally worth the food and the service. They have friendly and welcoming staff. They also have a large picture menu to help visualize what you’re ordering.I tried some of their dishes back in September 2024 with my sister and we both LOVED it. My sister had been begging me to bring her back for more so I ordered some food this past weekend for my family dinner and it was a HIT! My family consists of picky eaters and dont normally try new things and love it the first time they tried it. They all tried it and loved the food! They were asking for seconds! I wish I had pictures of our order but it was gone in minutes.

Delicious West African food, the egusi soup, meat sides, and okra stew were all excellent. Very friendly staff, however the restaurant is take out only, would be nice if they had a dine in option also. This is our go to place for West African food in the area, highly recommend!
