Super great bar with delicious cocktails. Also boasts a select barrel of knob creek selected specifically for this restaurant. It’s a very delicious rye with solid spice. The bar has a great selection of liquors. The bartenders are super nice and prepare delicious drinks. The only downside of this bar is it closes at 11 pm; fairly early, but it closes at the same time as the hotel bar. The rooftop bar also has an amazing view of the surrounding area. It’s a great spot to have a quick drink before turning in for the night, if you’re an early to bed type of person.

The Montford Rooftop bar is absolutely incredible!! They have free valet parking which was a total surprise. It saved me from having to drive around looking for a parking spot on my own. From the moment I walked in, Holton was professional and polite. I ordered the Butterfly Effect cocktail that was not only delicious but also beautiful and interactive! Do yourself a favor and order this drink!! The manager, Alex, stopped by and was such a delight to talk to. If you’re visiting Asheville, you need to stop here. I came for the view but stayed for the associates. Thank you Montford Team!

Joel is a spectacular bartender! He made the experience even more enjoyable with his talent for making cocktails AND mocktails taste amazing. He has a true gift & is so easy to get along with. The views there are beautiful and there is free valet parking when you arrive. 10/10 experience!

Incredible views. Thoughtful cocktails. Food is solid. The winter holidays have fun bar takeovers. Absolutely worth the visit. Sunset is out of this world from the open-air patio. A must-visit for Asheville. Visit for the views. Stay for the seasonally-driven craft cocktails. Downsides? It can get crowded (hey, they’re popular!), & gendered washrooms. I suggest visiting the hotel bar on the ground floor while you wait for a table.

Small, outside was closed due to rain. It was dark so couldn’t take in the views. Nice ambiance. Drink was good. Flatbread was not, reminiscent of school lunch pizza. Caesar salad pretty good, minus the whole cloves of garlic. Would like to go back when we can see the views— just for drinks though.
