Behold Portland’s most underrated breakfast spot. The menu is varied enough to satisfy all ends of the breakfast spectrum, and the food is as fresh as it gets. My favorite is the breakfast salad- it’s seriously incredible. Service is great, atmosphere is relaxed and the patio out back is shaded and quiet. I really hope this place lasts forever!

This place is killer. I would give it 6 stars if I could. The food took a bit to come out but believe me when I say it’s beyond worth the wait. You can see from my pictures that the portions are so impressive. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Flaky, crispy and still juicy.

Hands down, one of thee best brunches I have had ever. My wife and I went here on our 1st day for our honeymoon, which made the rest of the week wanting to come back for even more. The staff and the food were amazing. We ordered the Veggie Eggs Benedict and the Mont de Cristo. The portions were great for us and we even got a bottle of their habanero sauce. Super worth coming and eating here while visiting or even living in Portland. Wish we had this place in our state too.

This very small space with an unassuming home decor just might be the hidden best breakfast spot in Portland! We got the breakfast burrito, chimmichurri scramble, and French toast, and they all rank #1 in best places to do them in the entire city. I’ve been here for 3+ years and every restaurant is fusion with a range of loosely grasped cooking principles, but this place knows how to egg, how to crispy potato, how to French toast, and all the details in between. Masterclass in attention to taste and flavor! No points off for plating like a Diner because who cares when you’ve got the crispiest potatoes in town. Service was very attentive and warm, but the wait was exceptionally long for the food.

I was introduced to The Mont this past month by a good friend, who has now made The Mont his go-to brunch choice, and was totally impressed with the taste and quality of their food! So, I decided to pass along the introduction to another good friend, and we both were smiling with each bite! Here is a pic of The Mont’s Mediterranean Scramble with gluten free bread.

Such great good and people were so nice. Long waits and even longer waits for food, but so worth it. Really great bloddy Mary’s. The best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had with local cinnamon syrup. To die for

I heard about this place from a coworker and I have no regrets. The food is absolutely spectacular! I’d highly recommend the spicy chicken and waffles or the Mont de Cristo — both have such an amazing depth of flavor.

Their food is great but their coffee is Hella bitter. If you’re into that, then you should be all over this place. If you’re like me and looking at acidic bitter coffee gives you heartburn, maybe not. Also after we got our food we didnt see our server again until we were done eating. I was soooooo thirsty by the time I was done eating.

If you had told me 3 years ago today that I would be experiencing a delight to the senses at “The Mont,” I would have called you crazy. But here we are, three years and one trip to The Mont later, and I can say with certainty that my senses have been DELIGHTED. The atmosphere was so welcoming and we were seated quickly. My party enjoyed all of their selections, with the chicken sandwich being a stand out. Our server, Muggy, was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I cried. If I could live at the Mont, I would.
