My family and I wanted to celebrate my mom’s birthday with a nice dinner at a cool place. The Monogram Lounge is pretty inside and the drinks were great. Unfortunately, the food and service were extremely disappointing. We were clearly an inconvenience to our server, Aurelia, who did the absolute bare minimum. She was short and snappy. I work in the restaurant industry and I know it can be stressful, but the restaurant was half empty. We didn’t have any special requests, we aren’t typically people with a lot to complain about. Anyway, we ordered 2 appetizers and our entrees. One appetizer and one entree come out together. We had to ask a host for appetizer plates and silverware. 10 minutes later, 3 more entrees. 5 minutes later, our second appetizer comes, and finally after 10 more minutes, the last entree comes out. Whatever, not a huge deal, just odd timing. The burnt ends were truly inedible. They were all fat, tasted like a pot roast, no flavor. The fingerlings were not actually fingerlings at all, just smashed up potatoes with no flavor. The steak was extremely salty. My aunt and I ordered the exact same sandwich, and hers came out with no cheese on it. Definitely wouldn’t recommend dining here to anyone. Again, the drinks were great! Maybe the food tastes better when you’ve had a few.

Lovely place to grab happy hour cocktails and food! We went on a Friday night with a group of 5 and weren’t able to get a table right away, but were able to get seats by the bar which was perfect for us. Loved the seasonal gin and tonic. All the food was amazing! The pork belly was a little too fatty, but still tasted good. Their pretzel was perfect. The brussel sprouts were so great, just wish there was a little bit more sauce on them! Parking was a bit tough on Friday night, but did find street parking just a few blocks away. The slide was super fun!

I was invited to a party at Monogram Lounge. What a fun place kind of off the main places. Great old building nicely restored and repurposed. They have the funnest slide right in the middle. The glass overlooks the brewery vats below. Lots of room to stretch out and enjoy the evening.

Oh my goodness, I literally can not say enough good about this place! Its a MUST! The food is perfection, and I’m so hard to please! The drink pairings were SPOT ON! OMG! And they have GF to top it all off! 10/10 … hands down! And they serve “Thou Mayest Coffee”… which is the cherry on top! Well done

We had dinner here before a concert at Knuckleheads. This worked out perfectly since they’re next-door to each other!
My husband ordered the KC Burnt ends and roasted brussels sprouts. I had the orzo salad with a side of salmon. More than enough food for the two of us and it was all excellent! Of course we both had an old-fashioned drink and it was excellent as well!
I highly recommend this beautiful establishment with all its different indoor outdoor restaurant options.

If you ever come through Kansas City, stop at this place. It has history; it makes its own beer and liquor. They have 2 restaurants. The restaurant on top I recommend because of their very unknowledgeable service and awesome food which I’m showing off. If you get the flight, you can try all 4 of their brands, and each one is different. The ribs are amazing. I mean, I’ve had a lot of ribs, and this is at the top, and their dessert cake was really good. I appreciate it. Some really awesome folks are there, and each one of the staff is very knowledgeable about the history of the brand and what they’re all about. Beautiful distillery with the Monogram Lounge up top. It is a stunning layout. Happy Hour 3-6pm everyday and all day on Sunday. I found out they have brunch which looks fantastic. Their seasoned popcorn was the perfect snack. Cocktails were incredible. 100% would go back. Next I want to try their Hey Hey Club for their supper special, which is their speakeasy type bar that they do meal and cocktail pairing.
