The older man in the grey sweat shirt and hat claimed he was the owner then the bartender at this establishment. When we went inside he continued to harass people. He was completely heavy intoxicated and should NOT be allowed to come at customers like this. The owners should be ashamed and we will never recommend this bar. The bartender also got someone who goes there a lot in the brown plaid which we have provided pictures to Harris’s people. This is not a place to go and enjoy yourself. These poor souls just had walked in and did nothing wrong when these two just went off for no reason. We differently will never go back again to this establishment.

This location has been in my life for 50+ years. I used to sneak down there on my bike as a kid to play the space invader and tetris games in the bar when the Gene and Joe Kothe owned it in the 70’s and 80’s. Joe used to sneak me Snickers bars and Grape Soda.
Then Ron and Judy Friese bought the place and I went there all the time as a teen and late teen years. I – of course – did not drink a SINGLE drop – because I was underage!! Absolutely the BEST burgers and a great atmosphere for as long as I can remember. When the Home Base was sold, I was afraid I had lost a long time GO TO place. But the Mix UP has absolutely performed! Their food is outstanding and the service is friendly and fast. I was pleasantly surprised that the place retains the same atmosphere that so many have come to love over the years. It’s one of the first places I visit when I am back in Wisconsin. Lots of GREAT memories and many more to be had!!!!!! Keep up the GREAT work!!

Went here with a group to have a mini meeting. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We sat outside and the atmosphere was good, loud, but good. We were a group of 8 and most of our food was extremely overcooked. There was no cheese left in our cheese curds as it had leaked out from being overcooked and the wings were also overcooked. One of our meals was incorrect, so they had to remake the burger and when they brought it out several minutes later, they forgot her side of fries. There seemed to be a lot of miscommunication between the staff. We also had to ask for most of our refills as we weren’t checked very much and it wasn’t very busy there. Based on this experience, I’m not going out of my way to return.

Our party of four went here on a Friday night. There was live entertainment outside on the patio. They were awesome. The patio is huge with an outdoor bar and plenty of tables which are very uniquely made. I want one. We had chicken, fish fry, and steak sandwiches. Everything was good. Our waitress was so friendly and kept track of us well, despite being super busy. You could tell she loves her job. I am from Michigan, but definitely want to return to this place. The owner was also there and touched base with us asking if everything was ok. That is impressive. The music kept us staying well after supper. Check this place out—you will love it. I think they only have music on the weekends though, so call ahead to see about that if that’s important to you.

This bar is a great way to start your summer! Very attentive bartenders, great table service on the patio, and the food.. so good!! Fair prices, all around awesome. The Wapo poppers are amazing! Honey mustard chicken wrap was huge and very reasonably priced.

I’m a vegetarian, so I ordered appetizers. I had Jo Jo’s, pretzel bites, cream cheese wontons, a virgin margarita, and a side of coleslaw. It was all so delicious. We haven’t been here before, so we weren’t sure what to expect. The outside of the building looked like a house. The inside was a calm, relaxed, restaurant setting. We loved it. I’d definitely go back.
