Out with my sister and craving a good burger—we definitely found it. The All-American burger and fries were fresh, hot, and delicious, plus a drink, all for just $15. Mama Kay’s cheese cake was delicious, as well as the coconut pie.
If you’re in the mood for an adult beverage, you’ll love the wall of options—pick your pour! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the tables are roomy and clean.
A great experience all around—we’ll be back.
The beer wall is a fun touch with a great selection to choose from.
I had the mozzarella sticks & chicken quesadilla – both were delicious & hit the spot.
The ovens were pretty cool too!
Definitely planning to come back next time I’m in Columbus!
The beer wall is fun and has a great variety. I like that the beer wall allows you to pour exactly how much you want with no minimum pour so you can try different things without drinking a ton. The handful of beers I tried were all great (it was more than a year ago that I used the beer wall so I don’t remember what I had and it’s probably not there anymore since I think they rotate).
I have tried the blackened shrimp tacos and sweet n’ sour tofu off the food menu. The shrimp tacos were really good, lots of flavour and fresh. I enjoyed the sweet n’ sour tofu but it was less impressive than the tacos; it was good in the way that Chinese takeout is good. The fried rice was a little bland but the tofu and spring roll were both tasty. I haven’t tried the pizza myself but it looks so good; if I ever come back here I’m getting pizza.
As for the desserts, the banana pudding cheesecake was fantastic. The key lime pie was a little too sweet. The cookies also look great.
The beer wall is nice, the ordering system is nice. (It does not have table service in the traditional since. There are people who pre-bus your table and bring you your food, but you are in charge of your drinks and ordering.)
The pizza sadly is what I found lacking. The sauce is too watery. If I could eat pizza fast enough this would not be an issue, but the pizza comes out HOT. By the time it is cool enough to eat the middle is soupy and the cheese is not very melty.
Less cheese and sauce would actually be a benefit to this place.
I have not tried the pizza again, but we did stop in today for French fries for my 3 year old. We got a kids meal, a salad, and a burger for 43$. This is on par with every other restaurant downtown. It no longer seems over priced. The burger was good. I’d wish they used 2- 1/3 pound patties without smashing them. But that would bring the cook time up to 12 minutes. The burger was serviceable. The fries are fantastic.
