Apple Jack BBQ ribs are amazing. Fries are fresh cut and delicious. The only item I don’t like is the cole slaw. It’s the worst cole slaw I’ve ever had. No flavor and very bland. For the ribs alone it’s worth the trip. If they are ever open again I would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful flavors in BBQ pork. Good smoked coloring. I also enjoyed the beans which were decorated with nice chunks of meat as well. I would have preferred them slightly less soupy. Worth the detour. Only exception being the political messaging out front.

I eat here almost every weekend. The sandwiches are all big and delicious. The ribs are good but not spectacular. My personal favorite is the smoked barbecued half chicken which is only available on Sunday. Their baked beans are the best I’ve ever had. Bring cash they don’t take plastic but there is an ATM across the street.

Our food was absolutley delicious. There was a wait but not very long. The line moved quickly. Great acoustic music while we ate. A very rustic atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

A real gem. Very good food, good prices, and shockingly fast service! So fast that sometimes they finish the order before I finish getting napkins, straws, and BBQ sauce for the family!
It has a very nice shaded area with picnic tables to eat at. The shade plus a nearby creek seem to drop the temperatures to nice and cool, even on a hot day. Bring cash as it is cash only!

We accidentally stumbled across this place while taking a scenic drive and man was it incredible! The atmosphere was what drew us in and it certainly didn’t disappoint! The pork was great alone, but smothered in their spicy BBQ sauce was even better! Highly recommend to locals or tourists!

Great BBQ joint, the ribs are fall off the bone perfect, and the pulled is really good as well. The customer service is very good as well. Do note it’s cash only, and only open during the weekend. On super nice days, do not think they’ll have ribs just lying around at the end of the day, they HIGHLY RECOMMEND calling to reserve your racks ahead of time.
