I’d give The Mirror DC a solid 4 out of 5 stars. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and easy—it was quick to get in, and the layout made it simple to walk through and find what I wanted. I really appreciated how organized the experience was, even with the crowd. The ambiance was creative and upscale, definitely giving that trendy, photo-worthy vibe that’s perfect for a night out with friends or even a celebration.
There was a cool balance between chill and upbeat energy, and the service was friendly and efficient. I was able to enjoy the experience without feeling overwhelmed, which I think speaks to how well they manage the space.
One thing to note is that it’s mostly standing room, with only a little bit of seating. That might not be ideal for everyone, especially if you’re hoping to lounge for a while—but it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience.
All in all, The Mirror DC offers a unique and enjoyable night out, and I’d definitely go back again!

Great little speakeasy in D.C.
Came in before dinner and was able to get a seat at the bar right away. The bartender was very knowledgeable about the drinks they had on offer and was able to make an off-menu drink to suit our request, in true speakeasy style. Place is located at the bottom of a nondescript black stairwell, just go through the mirror once you get to the bottom.

Great speakeasy, very swanky with great cocktails and music. Bartenders are great and know there way around a bar. Will definitely go back

I’m not a huge bar guy, but this one was interesting and fun. Drinks were strong and worth it. Whole place is a little tight, but I guess it was a weekend night. Being that this place is off the beaten path helps with not being too crowded.

The cocktails are okay; my party ordered two sunflowers, and they tasted different from each other (one was more strong/not as good tasting than the other one) so consistency was off. It’s very dark inside which fits the vibe of a speakeasy, but being dark + a bit loud makes it more ideal for a smaller group hangout. There’s several couches for groups!

Really unique spot, the mirror on the wall is super cool and in such a random place. The bar area was really busy so we sat at a table. Great music and cool vibes. We didnt order from there menu just had a couple of negronis and they were perfect.

The Mirror was a very vibey drink spot after a dinner out. The entrance was cheeky and fun to kick off the vibe. The drinks were good but a few dollars overpriced for cocktails that are standard rather than bar specific specials. It is very intimate with limited seating, low lighting and loud music.

Yuck. As someone with craft cocktail experience, this place is mediocre at best. Dark vibe, secret mirror, awful drinks. I ordered a daiquiri obv the classic way… it was made with DonQ and $18. Not balanced at all. Awful. Treated like lime juice. No sweeter… find better.

This place was pretty cool. The staff were great and the lemon drop shot was so good it’s worth sipping. The couch in back of the place is needing replaced but other than that a great time.

Fun little speakeasy with a clever entrance. You’ll need to go downstairs to get to the mirror and a guard will let you in. The cocktails were unique and the place was kept dim for ambiance. Service was great and we just happened to be there on a slower night which meant there wasn’t a huge around the bar all night. Fun little experience close to the Washington Plaza hotel.
