We decided to check out The Mill since it was close by and open on Sunday, December 28.
There were three of us. My son ordered the wings, my cousin ordered the cheesy garlic bread (I believe that’s what it’s called), and I had the Cruzan Confusion. The wings were good, though I personally would’ve liked them fried a bit harder. The garlic cheesy bread was also good, and my drink was enjoyable as well.
One issue we experienced was with the billing. We were a party of three, but my son and I were on one bill while my cousin was on a separate bill. The waitress provided two clipboards, yet the charges were still mixed up and placed on the wrong bills. Although she corrected it, it wasn’t an easy fix. Additionally, the wait time to receive and pay the bill was longer than expected. It did get busy, and it seemed like the waitress struggled a bit with multitasking.
On a positive note, the ambience is really nice. As shown in my photo, you can see the water while seated, which adds to the overall experience.
Will I return? I’m not sure, as I’m only back home in St. Croix for a week and want to try other spots. However, if you’re on the island, it’s still worth checking out.

Very nice place! Like the theme and the atmosphere. Pizza was great, I got the buffalo ranch one. Waiters were great, only thing is she said she would bring a pitcher of water but never did. Otherwise tho it was great

Fantastic spot that is chill amongst loud busy neighbors. We could see the water, feel the breeze, and were served amazing drinks and pizza. I love spicy food and the jerk chicken pizza had enough of a kick to water my mouth and make my wife reach for more drinks.

We were headed out of town but needed to eat and wanted to see Point Udall. Stopped here to get food before heading to Udall. Grabbed 2 drinks and asked for a pizza to go. The sever/bartender was great, and very helpful. Got us our pizza quickly and a nice pour on drinks. The pizza was fabulous, great crust and great flavor. Glad we happened upon it in a rush.

We ate here twice during our stay. Once at the restaurant and one time to go. Our service was fantastic, the pizza was really good. We also had the buffalo wings and they were delicious. The staff was busy but took great care of us and made us feel welcome. It’s a fun little spot with tables on the boardwalks and “inside”. They have an old sugar mill as the bar and it’s a hopping place.

The best pizza ever! It was so delicious!! Small spot with a bar and pizza on the menu. We got the Meat Freak and The Absolute – they were phenomenal. Overlooks the harbor and has plenty of shade. We recommend!!

Table of four with 3 pizzas ordered. Our server took our order and didn’t see her again until my husband went to find her for the bill. I get the ‘island time’ and have no objection to things being slow but this is the second restaurant on the boardwalk where they take your order, the kitchen brings out the food and then if you need anything you have leave the table and get it from someone else. Makes for a disappointing dinner. Pizza was average. Alfio’s is substantially better and worth the wait. Fight was happening next door at Mutiny and obnoxious music from a boat makes atmosphere awful.

St. Croix seems to be a pizza island—and why not? It’s laid-back and perfect for it. Boardwalk Pizza by the sea is awesome! Great pizza in a great location. We were staying in Frederiksted and came to Christiansted for the evening—it was an excellent choice. The boardwalk had lots of fun food options, but I recommended the pizza place for its simplicity and shareability.

The new owner Michael seems to be doing great things. The pizza was exactly what I was craving. The drinks are strong, our server Pete was fun, and really nice. We will definitely be back a few times before we leave the island.
