When you pull up its pretty underwhelming. The inside is decent and aged. The staff was nice. We sat outside in the back and the nature around us was nice. Saw two turtles. The loaded tots were pretty good, a decent portion to be an appetizer. We tried the mill burger and the Carolina burger. They both were decent at best. I’ll have to try something different next time.

Great food and service! Nice, out of the hustle and bustle busy streets. Sitting near the creek. Glad we finally made it. Will most definitely be going more often! And my salted caramel cheesecake was DELICIOUS! Should have bought two pieces.

Old timey feel. Great atmosphere. We went during a slower time. The server Josh was very informative and very nice. He was spot on with our order. I couldn’t complete my meal, it was very filling. The food was great, no complaints, and I’m picky. The pulled pork sliders, house salad, the cowboy burger, fries and loaded tot appetizer. The blue drink, forgive me I’ve forgotten the name was delicious as well. Josh was all ready with a to go box. Beautiful scenery. Thank you for a wonderful meal. Definitely a place I’d like to bring friend as well as family. Keep up the great work!

My husband and I along with our two year old visited The Mill on a Sunday just before 1pm. We were sat immediately. They have several options for seating – indoors, an outdoor patio overlooking puppy creek, and a screened in porch patio. In addition there is a bar area downstairs and a front patio reserved for guests 21 and up. We were waited on by friendly staff and served great food. They offer a good selection of locally crafted beer, a full bar, and wines by the Gallo Family. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. Our toddler enjoyed standing on the screened in porch overlooking the creek counting the turtles. We enjoyed it. We will return.

Great place for a good lunch or dinner! I got the French Dip sandwhich which is fantastic and my fiancé got the Mill burger. their fries are fantastic, super fresh, and beer-battered the view from our table of the creek was very nice. If you like the show “Yellowstone”, those are the country, home-town vibes this place gives off! Will definitely be coming back ❤️

First time we went there and the environment was great the service was excellent and the food was really good. I drive 4 hrs to have fish and chips in VA and this place gave me a spot to enjoy that at its a bit salty but very good.

Cozy, cute, great service, laid back atmosphere, awesome! I hadn’t been to The Mill at Puppy Creek. I didn’t see puppies but it is on the creek and it was cute to see the water moving them rough the wall of windows. There was an upstairs and a bar. Everyone seemed like they were at home. It just felt comfortable and good. There was some tables outside and a group was there having drinks. It really felt like everyone knew each other and the employees were so nice it was like they were going to add us into the family. We had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and the quesadilla for dinner. The food was priced less than I expected. We didn’t get dessert but I will return just because it’s nice to go out and not feel shuffled to a table with music so loud you can’t think. We will return!

Made a reservation for 4 people for 7pm on a Friday night. The table was ready when we got there and were seated right away. The waitress was friendly and food came out quick. The atmosphere overlooking the creek was great! We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, southern hamburger, fish and chips, and fish sandwich. All the food was good.

We drove over an hour to get here we have had this saved on our bucket list to do by station in North Carolina. We walked in to get a table outside on the patio to be told since we had the two parrots with us and a dog that we wuld have to sit out front and then their kitchen doesn’t !open till 2:00! We were there at 12:30, not only do I feel like this is false advertisement that you open at 12:00 it is a false deception that you are animal friendly! How sad, no wonder their reviews are so low! And as far as the old lady at the front staff she has a lot to be desired, her welcoming skills absolutely suck! Good luck puppy mill!
