What a great place. We had no reservations and there were four of us. We had immediate seating right at 5 PM on a Saturday. We had drinks and appetizers and I’m shocked how quickly everything was served. Very friendly and the food was very good. It was also very comfortable and the alcohol drinks were nicely strong and flavored well. Can strongly recommend and will visit again when back in town.

This was my first time at The Mayflower & it was amazing! I have to thank our waiter, Mathias, for recommending the Portuguese kale soup. I’d never had it before. Let’s just say I ordered another bowl for the road! I had the fried scallops and my friend had the steamed clams. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!! I will apologize for my pic. I was super hungry and took the pic halfway thru the meal

Beyond 5 stars for the service and the delicious food!!!! Lisa was our waitress and she was INCREDIBLE! We got fish and chips, the kids chicken fingers and the hot turkey sandwich. Everything was so yummy.

Great home style comfort food, no nonsense diner type food and an old Cape Cod atmosphere. I hope they never change, I’ve been going for nearly two decades and always look forward to it. Was waited on by Matthias, he was wonderful but forgot to bring me the side salad substitution with my meal that I was up-charged for. He delivered the food to the table and said he’d be back with my salad in a bit… The meal was so delicious and I was so enthralled with a friend’s conversation I completely forgot I never got my salad until several hours later. Other than that, great meal as always.

We came here for lunch and if you really like comfort foods this is your place. Good service and freshly prepared entrees. Huge menu of various cuisines. I kind of see it as a restaurant of many different immigrants food. If you’re in town give them a try.

This was our first time there. Our server was very nice and very attentive to us. The food was really great. We all had something different and we all loved our meals. We will definitely go there next year when we go back.

90 plus years and still going strong. Our waitress was warm and friendly. Thank you Ann!!! Food was delicious and came to the table as ordered. The window seat was perfect for people watching. Reasonable and locals eat there.

Overall nice experience. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and the wife the lobster roll. My pizza was a standard bar pizza. A bit over cooked for me but tasty.

Always amazing comfort food. We had two great meals…called in takeout on our way back from the beach. Classic reuben and the Cape Cod reuben sandwiches are delicious. Thank you!
