Not a Hater, just a Customer. Although we are very happy to have a Chipotle in Sandy, we are very disappointed in their Customer Service. There is one employee who stands out above the rest and I wish the others were more like him. He is very tall, soft spoken, wears glasses and is a gentle giant. But the rest of the crew are terrible. They stand around chatting and laughing while only one employee works the counter. It’s sad seeing a line of customers with only one employee doing the bulk of the work. The employees act miserable and they treat their customers as an inconvenience. There is no consistency with their food portions. One girl scooped up a tiny bit of rice in our bowl so I asked for a ‘little more’. She gave me two huge scoops and an attitude. One day I saw a younger man walk in, I believe he was a Manager. The employees gathered around him as they told jokes, he smiles at me and continues chatting, laughing and having fun, while I stood there waiting to be served. Every time I have gone there, which is unfortunately often, they are out of something, always. The other day they were out of taco shells. Duh! My teens love their Chipotle so we keep going, but its a miserable experience every single time. I hate that.

This is the 2nd Chipotle that I have tried and my opinion will remain the same! Food is room temperature “at best”, but the worst part is I have a pile of fat and gristle sitting in front of me from every bite I have taken! It’s gross! Never again!! I’ll spend my 17.00 of hard earned money elsewhere!!

Idk what’s wrong with this location but the barbacoa is absolutely disgusting. It’s supposed to be shredded but it never is. The golf ball sized chunks of gristle and fat are never heated through or shredded. Obviously their staff does not care about food quality. This is the third time it’s been like this. The photos are from two separate times of ordering here. This is the only chipotle I’ve ever had this issue at, coming from someone who literally used to work at a (different) chipotle. Serving food like this would’ve been completely unacceptable.

I have been to the Sandy restaurant several times now. What I’ve noticed is that they are very stingy with their portions. I get at least a quarter to a third less food than I do in other locations, like Happy Valley and Gresham.
I think they should have less concern for their portion size, making sure to hit the handle of the spoon to knock off the excess, and more concerned about making the customer happy, or they may not have customers. Also, their food was cold.

I can’t believe this happened on two different occasions two weeks in a row No rice a chipotle are you kidding me. The burrito is smaller then my teenage daughters hand. Go to Gresham for your chipotle

Some kind of equipment must be broken, because no matter what meat I order everything always seems to come out cold. I want to like it. Really bad. It just sucks to wait 15 minutes in line to pay 14 bucks for a stone cold burrito.

Only 7 customers in the building, all of us in line. Four workers and only one person on the line making food. One girl not doing anything but talking to another worker who’s doing prep and another lady doing food prep as well. The only girl that was making food on the line made pretty and yummy looking burritos, but efficiency and caring about how long she’s taking didn’t seem to be in her agenda. I will never come here for a lunch break again. Nor if I want to wait less than 30 minutes for my food. I’ve had faster service when the place is packed wall to wall.

Got a delivery order. Maybe it’s different in the store? Ordered two burritos and they were both huge, all rice though, little bit of beans, barely any veggies, and barely ant amount of meat in both even paying extra for the beef barbacoa. (Chicken was better flavor). But again, barely any meat at all in both. Shell does way better and it’s a gas station ♀️

New menu but you don’t even know what’s on it? Seriously, Chipotle…. Why don’t your employees know what’s on the protein menu? Why roll out special items where the employees can’t even make it? lol. Weird business practice for sure
