Don’t let the humble exterior fool ya. This place is awesome! Everything we ordered for our meal was made from scratch, very fresh and delicious. The pretzel appetizer with beer cheese dip was super yummy. The Cobb salad with chicken was outstanding. The hamburgers were also expertly prepared and very tasty. Outstanding customer service here as well. Looking forward to coming back again the next time we’re passing through the area.

Only restaurant open last night in this complex, maybe most of Hillsville, and was so thankful for our exhausted server that still gave her hospitable and welcoming service. Great pit stop off I-77. Great menu with lots of selections for even the pickiest of eaters. Staff was very friendly. Establishment is divided between bar and restaurant with plenty of TV’s to catch your favorite sporting event. Also lots of beautiful photos of historical local landmarks. The Tex Mex burger was plumb, juicy and cooked to perfect with just the right amount of heat. The Chicken Fried Chicken was so good my wife scarfed it down before I could get a photo! We will stop again

My Family and I ate here yesterday for the first time. I want to start this review on why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Our Server was Jordan S. She was wonderful. We arrived around 3:30pm and there was a few occupied tables. Not busy. Once it hit 4pm, it started to fill up. Jordan was the only Server. Bless, we felt so bad for her. She didn’t get help bussing the tables, so people were standing at the door waiting for a table to be cleaned. There was an elderly couple, walking around looking for a clean table and ended up sitting at a dirty table that wasn’t bussed yet. Jordan was doing the best that she could by herself. When it hit 5pm, there was a bunch of staff out helping her. Maybe get more staff for lunch, this restaurant is popular.
Now on to beverages. The ice water had a perfume taste to it. I had my mom taste it, and she agreed.
The food is DELICIOUS!! We had ordered the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. Cooked perfectly. The pimento cheese is the best I’ve ever had. For my meal I had ordered the hamburger steak with grilled onions and brown gravy, green beans, and loaded baked potato. The hamburger steak had the crispy edges, which I love! The green beans are seasoned nicely. My mom had ordered the fish and chips with hush puppies and she really enjoyed that. She said the coleslaw is the best she’s ever had. My brother ordered the special which was a burger with jalapeno and he enjoyed that too. My husband enjoyed his burger with beer batter onion rings. All the plates are very well portion with food. We couldn’t believe how much food there was! You definitely get your money worth.
The dessert was a little disappointing. My Husband and I had ordered the brownie ice-cream to share, with it being $10 we thought it was going to be huge like our meals. It wasn’t, it comes in a mason jar and we dumped it on a plate so we can share it and it was small portions. Maybe lower the price on that.
Overall, the food is excellent and Jordan is great. We will definitely return.

Me and my family went and ate there the other day. The food was amazing. Our servers name was Kelly, excellent customer service. She was so attentive and took very good care of us. She brought the things we needed before we had to ask, and was so nice to talk to. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and we will be back to see Kelly too
