Market Place Deli is a reliable source of great food in the Vernon area. Today’s food was a Highland Lakes Panini prepared with grilled chicken , sun dried tomato , onion , pesto, and Monterrey Jack cheese. I have eaten here before and they have indoor and outdoor seating.

We’ve lived in the lake 10 years and Marketplace is our absolute go-to for everyone from pizza to dinners to sandwiches. Their breakfast sandwiches are amazing too! We order at least a couple times a month. We’ve never had a bad experience with this place. Their delivery people are always prompt and courteous also. Love Marketplace!

Great little local spot if you live in the Highland/Barry Lakes area. Great pizza. Great breakfast sandwiches. Heros were also good. I havent had a bad experience there this far and have been going a lil over 4 yrs now. If u happen to be in area, thats the spot to go for a quick pepperoni pie or a great sub. And of course a bacon and egg and cheese on an everything bagel slightly toasted w butter….my breakfast fav for sure.

It seems like the rodent issue may be taken care, the staff still amazing as always. The cleanliness still subpar, the gluten free pizza honestly is one I’ll eat when I have no other options. It is a pre-made frozen crust absolutely not worth it. The staff have not been trained on how to care when it comes to gluten free foods. Since returning to give this establishment another change I have been twice and gotten my gluten free food contaminated both times. So needless to say they may advertise gluten free but are not b/c they will cut your food with the same knife they just cut a gluten foods with. Please be careful when ordering gluten free foods here.
I say this with a very heavy heart. The food is absolutely amazing, the staff are outstanding. HOWEVER, the owner does not care that he has a huge mouse infestation. Grey mice are born inside!!!!!! An adult grey mouse ran from the chips to the atm behind the deli. FOR YOUR SAFETY DO NOT EAT HERE UNTIL THE INFESTATION IS TAKEN CARE OF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After going to purchase pre packaged things from here with a closer look around the building, we will not be going here any time in the foreseeable future. There is absolutely no rodent control at all outside of the building. State law districts that there should be at least 1 rodent control device outside of a food establishment and there is zero outside of the market place.
Again for your safety please do not order food from here until the owner takes care of this health violation.

The pizza is amazing and has been for years and years. The staff are very friendly and getting your order is relatively quick. Inside there’s a small sitting area and market for drinks and other snacks. Convenience is a huge plus. They have good daily deals as well.
