Heard about this place so, yes, drove 20 miles to try it out. First impressions, older establishment out in middle of nowhere. Walking in, lots going on with the bar but very inviting. After looking around, server obviously figured out we were new here and directed us to the counter to order where the menus were. Look up and it’s there too Ordered a cheese burger with all the fixings with onion rings and the hubby did the Capt. Anderson (big mistake )! Onions rings were crispy and well seasoned. Burger was just that, which was fine. A bit of ketchup and I’m good. Capt. Anderson was a meal fit for a king! Hubby loved the flavors and hurt himself by finishing the plate. Good thing we were going grocery shopping after to walk some of it off. Quaint place with great customer service and a quick bite to eat if you’re in that neck of the woods.

Awesome little bar type restaurant inside, plenty of outdoor seating as well!
Love the homemade burgers and some
Of the sides are as well.
Plus the meat market is now located in the restaurant itself and you can grab some killer steaks from there and have em cooked for
Order.

We enjoy the food. Its a bit loud for us. Especially when they have a live singer. We usually sit outside.
The food is good but not chef worthy. But it hits the spot when you want something easy and good. I haven’t enjoyed an drinks I got at the bar, so go simple.

Our experience was the worst! We get there and stand in line to place order. Then we finally sat down at a table that still had dishes on it. Someone finally cleared the dishes but never wiped the table. Almost an hour later still waiting on our food. They say it would be at the least another 20 minutes! We asked them to credit our card back. They started giving all kind of excuses why it was taking so long, they should have told us upfront. The worst dining experience ever!

We visited Friday night around 7:30 pm. You order at the back and are given a number. They then bring your food to the table. It’s rustic and clean. There was a musician performing with his guitar. There is a full bar. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. We were driving to Atlanta, so did not stay long. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries, my husband the conecuh dog with tots. Food arrived quickly and was delicious! There is quite a lot of parking.

Forgot to do this review the day of, but want to be sure this gets highlighted! This was a few weeks back and I still remember the kind service, on point flavor and can’t wait till they have it again! Little family oriented establishment with big country feel.

Food looked delicious and the variety was a lot of different things for everyone in the family. Large variety of wine and mixed drinks. Dessert sounded very nice as well. I do believe the bathrooms were poorly kept. Pee pee all over the floor.

Great place for casual food or drinks. The hamburger is pretty good and love the okra side. The poboy wasn’t great, no remoulade and served on Texas toast. Kids meals are good portions, especially the Mac and cheese side, and we enjoy having the indoor and outdoor seating options. Haven’t tried the market meats yet but planning to.
