Wonderful and friendly dive bar. Vibes are immaculate. Pool tables and a jute box, cheap beer, what else do you need?

On operations as a bar for like 80 years it is pretty much what you expect. This seemed at the moment a very local hometown type of bar with some really friendly people. I wouldn’t suggest many mixed drinks or anything besides a beer. This place did seem cool if you’re looking for more of a honkeytonk style sports bar with some really cool history in the building.

Stopped in here on my way through on a Thursday afternoon for a beer. This is a homey quaint dive bar with great service and a nice pool table. Worth stopping in if you are thirsty and want to belly up to a bar

Another super old bar in Leadville, here on a Saturday afternoon and obvious place is full of locals.
They have a pool table in the back and a few games like darts. Few beers on tap and snack items for purchase. Also gift items like branded shirts.
Prompt friendly service and another great dose of local Leadville life.

Like the other reviews say, it’s a dive bar, but it has a very welcoming atmosphere. Just don’t order a Manhattan, it was terrible !

A locals bar for sure, but the vibe was super relaxed. Budweiser is $2.50, this is the place to kick your feet up after a long hike or float down the river in the nearby area. Staff was super great!

Great place to get your attitude and altitude adjusted before striking out for the Collegiate Mountains on the Colorado Trail. Thanks folks for the wonderful libations, relaxing atmosphere and a chance to tell tall trail tales over a few cold ones!

What dog? I’m going to shoot you straight. Nothing about this bar makes me feel like I’m in Manhattan. What makes me feel like I am in Manhattan is when I’m talking to a friend who I loved and she had this way of making me crack up and cackle like a madman. She was telling me a story about why she wouldn’t turn on her webcam for work for a zoom call. The punch line. I can’t reveal here because a. It’s really not that funny and b. It would require me to say some profane things and this is a Google review. It’s not about that life. So anyway what reminds me of Manhattan is my friend telling me a hilarious story which caused me to spit out my beer on three passing people. And let me tell you they were not happy with me. Two of them were like hey man what the heck and then the other one was like why’d you spit on me man and I told him I was laughing at a joke and I was sorry. I offered to buy him a beer and he didn’t want it. He wanted to know what made me laugh so much that I would spit on him and his two friends and my friend proceeded to tell him what she said and he scowled at her like that one. Snape dude from Harry Potter. And he looked at me disapprovingly and said I’ll take my drink now. That’s what Randy minds me of Manhattan this place and way up in the sky Colorado? This place reminds me of every other place where I’ve made poor decisions. Stuck in between a hard rock and consequences. I sit here and ponder what I’ve done, why I’ve done it. And I wonder how long I’m going to regret the thing that I’m going to do. Do they call that pregret? Who knows. Anyway, that’s what the Manhattan bar is like, their servers are very friendly and that makes my heart happy. So I do recommend this place. Place. But if you’re from Manhattan you will see this for the potentially sarcastic ruse that it is. Okay friends Wash yourselves down there before you do stuff. Come to here.
