The synonym for yummy food will be “The mandi chowk ” An absolute gem in the heart of Connaught Place. The place restaurant offers a delightful journey through authentic Arabic cuisine. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, perfect for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings. The food is nothing short of exceptional—each dish bursting with flavors that transport you straight to the streets of Arabia. With succulent chicken to tasty rice with dry fruits and to end with mouth watering dessert , it’s simply amazing. The service is impeccable, with staff who are knowledgeable and attentive. I highly recommend trying their signature mandi dishes; they are simply outstanding! A must-visit for anyone craving a memorable dining experience in Delhi. W

Visited Mandi Chowk at Rajiv Chowk and tried their grilled chicken mandi. The overall food experience was average. The chicken, in particular, was not very tasty and lacked the authentic mandi flavor I was expecting. The rice was okay and decent, but nothing exceptional.
The chutney was honestly not good at all and did not complement the dish, which was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, the mayonnaise was good and probably the best part of the meal.
I have experienced much better mandi at several other places, so my expectations were a bit higher. That said, it’s also possible that this particular style or taste just didn’t suit my palate.
However, where this place really shines is the ambience and service. The ambience is excellent — clean, spacious, and well maintained — easily a 5/5. The staff were polite, attentive, and quick with service, which also deserves a solid 5/5.
Pricing felt slightly on the higher side for the taste and portion quality, so I’d rate it around 3.5/5.
Overall, it was an okay experience. Good ambience and service, but the food did not stand out for me. Might be worth a try once, especially if you’re nearby.

First time visiting this place and it certainly won’t be the last time. Sunil Thapa’s service was extraordinary and every single dish we had was unbelievably good.
The Jucy Mandi is must-try, but the kaddu kheer is a sleeper hit for sure.

Average food overall. The server came and asked us to leave a review, which honestly feels like the main reason they have such high ratings.
The chicken quality was disappointing. The pieces were very tight and chewy, seemed either overcooked or made from older cuts.
The only good part was the mutton biryani that was actually well made and flavorful.

The place gives you the ambience of an arabic restaurant… the interior design music and the menu goes hand in hand. I tried their grilled chicken which was tasty. Loved the food. Highly recommended if someone wants to try arabic food in Delhi. The location is in CP, one of the most happening places in Delhi. So, accesibility isn’t a problem as well.

Great experience of having Mandi with group of friends. The service and staff is also good. Prices are also on average side, considering the location at CP. Great and quiet ambience and ample amount of space. Highly recommended to give it a try for once

A beautifully decorated and an exquisite ambience with a traditional sulaimani touch. Service was great. Food was good. Mandi rice was good but the mutton meat was not up to the mark. The afghan chicken kebab was on point. No over cook or under cook but it was exactly on point cooking. Dessert was also good. But the roasted almonds made it taste a little bitter. Their chicken dishes taste absolutely delicious. But the mutton dishes are a minor let down.

Mandi Chauk in Connaught Place is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Arabian flavors, but be prepared for a bit of a wait. We ordered the Al Fahm Chicken Mandi for two people, but the three of us demolished it in about 10 minutes flat! Every single bite was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the rice was incredibly flavorful. We also got the tandoori prawns, which were equally fantastic and so tender.
The seating is flexible, with both normal tables and chairs as well as traditional Arab-style floor seating. We went for the traditional option and loved the experience.
Honestly, this would have been a five-star review if it weren’t for the slow service. It cost them a point, but the food itself is worth the visit. Highly recommended!
