This place came highly reviewed and all those reviewers were not wrong. The staff that we met were lovely, kind, and we even got to meet Jimmy one of the local rescue pups who came in with his mom. I’ve actually worked clam/lobster baking on and off for about 7 years now. Love it and everyone has a different opinion about lobster rolls, the food here was delicious and large . We actually went out and sat in the garden which was beautiful and watched the hummingbirds. They support the local artisans and crafts. Some local produce some local art and some beautiful quilts. I feel like the world needs more of this …support Your neighbors, support the locals This is what I love about Maine and places like this, stop here

Such a fantastic a special place! Best lobster roll with incredible service! The crab roll is an extra incredible! They get the crab hand picked and it’s really delicious! Four generations of beautiful lobster sharing! Feels like an amazing HUG! Don’t skip the blueberry slaw
Which somehow needs to make it on the food and wine list of best slaw in the country!

Food was absolutely delicious! I had the buttered lobster roll basket with the pasta salad, blueberry coleslaw and a blueberry lemonade. My hubby had a lobster roll with chips and our aunt had the fried clams with blueberry coleslaw. We also had the lemon blueberry cake with cream cheese frosting for dessert. We couldn’t ask for a better meal. The lobster was piled high and it was all claw meat which is the best part of the lobster! I highly recommend checking this place out. The customer service was also great. The owner and her 2 daughters were there. Loved the decorations. The bar is set up like a boat and it looks like you are traveling the ocean. The outdoor porch is screened in so no bugs but a great view of their garden. We will be back every time we are in town!!!

We got the hot butter lobster roll which was very good the roll was delicious and the lobster was cooked nicely. We also got the clam strip basket which was cooked nicely and the fries were fries. The pasta salad was also very good. The blueberry coleslaw and blueberry lemonade were delicious. The main lobster lady was very nice and inviting and overall had a great atmosphere. Too bad I live 3287 miles away or I would be coming back.

Went here twice in two days when visiting Blue Hill. Some of the best fried clams I’ve had, also great scallops and crab roll. Service was also super friendly.

Really nice place with friendly service and excellent food. We shared a buttered lobster roll and a fish sandwich. The lobster roll was delicious and the fish sandwich was one of the best we have ever had. Unique and delicious tartar sauce. Everything is made in house and the lobster is caught by the family. Nice screened in patio or outside tables to sit at. Great discovery…we will be back!

I grew up hating seafood but was determined to at least try some while in Maine… (because when in Rome!)

Got a hot lobster roll and some haddock bites. The haddock bites had a super mild fish taste (just enough to know you weren’t eating chicken) but the sauce helped. What I was blown away by was the lobster. The meat came in large chunks and was super tender. I didn’t need the garlic aioli sauce to enjoy it, but it certainly didn’t hurt!

While there I also picked up some wild blueberry jam and was putting it on everything for the rest of the vacation. Toast, mixing some into yogurt, putting it on cheesecake – it was so tasty that everything got some

We took the food back to the lake house to enjoy it there but the staff was super friendly and the place had such a cute aesthetic that we could have just as easily stuck around to eat.

Wow, we’ve been stopping at every lobster shack we can while visiting the area and so far this one takes the cake. The lobster rolls were fresh and generously portioned, totally overflowing with claw and knuckle meat. The fried scallops were sooo bomb too. The staff was also so sweet. We chatted with the woman working and she is the owner’s daughter, her mother opened the shack years ago. We love the Lobster Lady! Must try, totally worth the drive.

There’s not much that needs to be said here. If you want a lobster roll — a real lobster roll — just go to Maine Lobster Lady. That’s it.

They serve what I consider to be the best lobster rolls you can get, period. No gimmicks, no filler, just a perfectly executed classic. They use exclusively claw meat, which in my opinion is the best part of the lobster — tender, flavorful, and never rubbery. The mayo is used sparingly and with purpose — light, clean, balanced — with just a touch of citrus and salt to tie it all together. It’s served on a perfectly toasted, buttered roll that holds everything in place without getting soggy or greasy.

That’s the whole experience — a lobster roll done exactly the way it should be, at a price that feels more than fair for the quality you’re getting.

You don’t need to stop at a random roadside shack with a hand-painted sign and hope for the best. You don’t need to overthink it. Just come here. If you’re in the area and you’re even considering getting a lobster roll, this is the place. End of story.

I normally never give 5*s. Am just a hard grader but this place blew me away. Best lobster roll I have ever had from Portland to Bar Harbor and I am 66 so have eaten a lot of them. Generous amount of perfectly cooked lobster on a perfectly grilled roll. I hate cole slaw but not theirs. It was cold, crisp and had blueberries. Not The French fries were hot and super crispy. I would drive out of my way to go there and we just stumbled upon it.
