Another brilliant meal, always a warm welcome here. Special mention of our server Azam and the guy that greeted us who had a baby daughter not so long ago(forgive us, we didn’t know your name)
Is one of my wife’s and mine favourite places, we had a Cobra Pint Beer,Strawberry Cider for drinks. Pickle tray with 2 poppadoms, Chicken Tikka starters x2(small portions but very tasty. My wife had her usual loved Chicken Korma and had a Mixed Masala with chips, garlic rice and garlic naan all to share
Brilliant value for just under £66 ..we gave 70 with tip. Get yourself here if you fancy a good Indian you won’t be disappointed

Amazing restaurant with very friendly staff and very nice food! Had a really nice chat with one of the employees who was very passionate about his job and the food and he wasn’t wrong. We both enjoyed our food, it was so tasty, nicely spiced and nice sized portions. We will definitely come back next time we are working in the area

This is the first time we’ve used The Madras it was my husbands birthday what a lovrly evening. The staff were so friendly and helpful food was excellent and service was grzeat.
The mrnu had a great selection without being too much. It was vell labeled for taste (spicy mild to – very hot) and allergies. There was a set menu for £14.95 a children’s section the prices are very goid including the drinks.
I had an issue wifth the menu (i wear glasses) and wasn’t sure if it was the size of the print or the brightness that made it hard to read i used the torch on my phone and for me it was the lighting so if you go and have a sight problem then be aware of this.
We will be returning again

Unfortunately not somewhere we would go again.
The salad was dry, indicating it was not fresh. We were disappointed with the King Prawn puri: it felt cold and appeared to have 2 prawns and a tomato for £6.10.
We asked for a refund on the king prawns and paid the remainder of the bill.
We left the establishment after trying the curries and went elsewhere for dinner.

Well this may contradict some reviews but it was our experience. My wife, daughter and I went in Sunday night after watching Queen (very good) and booking a table for 8:30. So, we turned and was seated. The place is nice and cozy inside. After 10 minutes I asked for a menu to which a waiter muttered yes or something. We waited another 5 minutes and askdd again. Now there was 1 table of 4 and a table of 8 all eating. So asked again and got menus. The waiter took drinks orders about a further 5 mins later. The starters arrived and were nice in all fairness. However the pickles were insipid. One just chopped onion with some flecks of parsley, the mango chutney was jam – smooth and sugary and the garlic was off white and more like yoghurt. We all said not nice. One whole hour later and after asking 4 times, restaurant near empty now with just us 2 others and the 1 table of 4. Well the mains arrived and then a few minutes later the sides. Again being fair, the mains were very nice. Wife and daughters tasted exactly the same but were different from the menu. The vegetable curry was lacking taste and watery. We all didn’t like it. At nearly 10pm we abandoned the last course paid (fifty quid) and left. Mains & starter good, rest bad and service very poor. We have had better food for same money that left enough for the next day. Can’t say we will visit here again. Mediocre food, bad service.

Good service but with variable food quality. Naan bread was excellent and starters good apart from very tough lamb tikka. Some mains not great… watery and tasteless. We’ve had much better elsewhere for lower price than we paid here.

Disappointed tonight – rice over cooked – Chicken was hard and again over cooked – Madras was watery and tasteless – kebab as starter was again tasteless too –
1no poppadoms and pickle tray
2no as above the to takeaway
2 pints of cobra
1 chicken madras
1 rice
1 sheek kebab
£45 – overpriced for the quality of the food – if it had been decent grub it would have been worth it. Despite my poor experience, the restaurant was busy.
