So good the 1st time we made a 2nd visit on our stay. The people working there are as friendly as can be. All our food was delicious. I think it was Tuesday, the special was spaghetti and meatballs or a meatball parmesan sandwich. Let me tell you, I know a good meatball and these were fantastic. Wife got the shrimp po boy and cole slaw, which were both great. Second trip we got the small Mufalatta which was enough to share, but we also got a roast beef po boy and the special of the day chicken and sausage gumbo. Also got onion rings, crispy and hot. Everything was great. Prices are just a little high, but you do get great tasting food. I’m not mad at all that we went to the same restaurant twice on a 1 week trip. September 2025

Friendly! After a minor mishap and they had to remake my order (things happen, I understand) the portions were big, almost too much for a lunch. Chicken Parm poboy was good, the marinara on the sandwich was basic, nothing special.

The best New Orleans-style po-boys on the gulf coast!!! The French bread was so crispy and the Roast Beef was seasoned just right! The shrimp were de-veined and fried crispy and hot! This is my favorite po-boy plac, better than the tourist traps in NOLA!

Probably the worst cheeseburger I’ve ever had in my life. Why was my burger 3 tiny separate broken prices? Why was there one tiny little slice of tomato? Why was there no ketchup or mustard or pickles or onions? It was literally mayonnaise, lettuce and the tiniest tomato slice ever. And I’m still hungry. Felt like I was robbed. Horrible food, just horrible. This thing they sold me doesn’t even qualify as a burger. This place should be shut down and the owners should feel great shame and humility. Oh and the employees consisted of several old woman basically yelling at each other while hobbling around. Disgusting food, even more disgusting employees.

Husband and I took a drive and ended up here when we finally got hungry. The dining room was packed and a long line at the counter so we thought it had to be good! Was able to snag a table but had to clean it ourselves. Food finally was put up on the counter for us to grab. Husband got Burger and it sat in a puddle of grease that he had to use a napkin to soak up. Other than that he said it was good. He loved the mushroom and onion topping he got on it. I ordered the daily special, chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. It was good. Not the best but still good.
But if you need a sandwich or gumbo, this place has it just do t know how it will turn out for you. Good luck

We got the hot sausage po boy and fries it was delicious. The price was very reasonable too! It did take probably 15 minutes to get our order because they were very busy on a Monday holiday at lunch time, but it was worth it.

The food was awesome. This is the second time I’ve eaten there and I’m very picky. Used to be VP of American culinary Federation. If they competed in one of our competitions they would win!

Wanted to try a muffeleta, and this place was suggested. The muffaleta gets 5 stars! The gumbo zero stars. The service on the phone 5 stars. The service when I picked it up ZERO stars. As much as we enjoyed the muffaleta, we will look somewhere else next time.

What happened to the burger? It’s not the same. And the fries have batter or something to keep them crisp or something? It’s not what it was.:(
