Wonderfully cozy atmosphere. Good service. The chicken appetizer was amazing and a must have! Our mocktail drinks were very tasty. Meatballs were spicy for me but so good I ate them anyway

The prime rib was a disappointment. We recommend getting prime rib at the “Ore House” but everything else we had was excellent.

Let me begin by saying the staff is fabulous and accommodating. We had a group of 20, including children, and were seated in a private dining area. However, the AC was out, which does happen occasionally, but we were not notified of this until after our dining experience. The windows in the private room had no shades, so it got to be very toasty during our evening. The food is where they lost major points. When you charge so much for plates, we have higher expectations for the quality and execution of our meals. The food was pretty, but not executed properly. 2/3 soups were served cold. The quail was charred and dry. Two steaks were sent back for being well done when they were ordered medium and medium rare. The staff was apologetic and corrected the issues, but overall, we shouldn’t have had so many concerns for the money we were spending. Also, if you’re vegetarian, your option is the tomato soup or a kids grilled cheese.

Fantastic steaks, great atmosphere, & wonderful drinks! I asked my server for a fruity cocktail & he suggested the Key Lime Cowgirl – so delicious! Straight up key lime pie in a cup. Check it out if you’re looking for a nice dining experience!

This was our second negative experience. Last one wasn’t great, this was BAD. A claim of a delay to make tortillas for the happy hour tacos, but it was only an hour into happy hour, tacos were the special and the tortillas were clearly not fresh. It took 15 minutes and 3 attempts to get water for a group of 6! Then the beverages…one martini came out w 0 olives as was described on the menu. Then that was remedied w olives that were not stuffed w bleu cheese (again as described on the menu). Our second round of drinks was a miss as well. 7 drinks for what was now a table of 5. Only 2 of which were actually ordered. The server did return and apologize, saying our order had been mixed with another table’s. However, that table had wine and no one at our table ordered any wine. To finish this experience we figured we should take a look at the itemized receipt. That did not come out with our bill! When we asked for that itemized receipt, we were told that it couldn’t be produced/reprinted. We did accept that just to be done with our experience, but with multiple service industry professionals in our group, we knew that was not true. It must also be said that the restaurant was NOT busy at all. Very disappointing experience. We are long time local residents and hoped to show our friends, returning for a visit, a good experience. It was embarrassing for us and Steamboat Springs. We came away with a story, but not a good experience. None of us will be willing to come back

Great happy hour prices. Oysters weren’t on happy hour but were fairly priced and tasty. Burger off the bar menu was decent, nothing cravable if I’m being honest. Lobster lettuce wraps were comparable to a nice grocery store deli mix. Again, happy hour prices were right for what we received. Atmosphere was awesome. Comfortable table and chairs and big TVs and windows to see the mountain. Biggest complaint would be the $17 cabernet that was just not good at all. But the slopeside sidecar cocktail was super delicious. Service was good as well. Will come back for oysters!

Tonight we did HH – Taco Tuesday – at E3 Lounge to celebrate our friends’ last night in town. Wish we had gone to La Fiesta. We got drinks we didn’t order that took forever – FOREVER – to make…and the drinks we did order were made incorrectly. martinis without olives, cold tacos with “fresh tortillas” that were clearly from the Mission Street Taco pack from City Market, and a closed bill without an itemized receipt. The staff was pleasant, but objectively incompetent. We are service industry people… we understand how the system works. This was unacceptable and absolutely embarrassing for us and for Steamboat.
My husband and I are 20 and 30-year locals, we love supporting our town’s businesses and feel proud to share spaces with guests. We do not plan to recommend or return to this establishment.

Okay! Would give 10 stars if I could! Let’s break it down:

My husband surprised me with a Valentines Dinner here. They’ve only been open a couple of weeks so I had no idea!

He reserved a table in advance with a special Valentines Day menu. He said reserving it was very easy.

We arrived, large parking lot so no issues parking. Easy to drive to and convenient location.

After entering we were greeted by a very nice hostess and immediately seated.

Our table was already decked out and ready for us. Immediate service bring us water. Everything looked so nice!

The lit menu showing the courses for the night and the wine list was a super cool touch! Did not expect that! (Also spoiler alert the check later is also lit up!)

Our server Marissa was an absolute gem! There’s not a single thing I would change about our night! I was genuinely surprised at how knowledgeable she was for only being open a couple of weeks. I’ve been a server before so I expect people to still figure things out but she was 100/10! Would go back just for her!

Our food was amazing. First course was an edible scallop dish that honestly was almost too pretty to eat. Second course was the choice between a salad or tomato bisque. My husband got the salad and said it was great. My bisque was so good I asked if they had a grilled cheese on the regular menu because it would be absolute fire. Of course they do (Marissa sold us on that!) so we have to come back! Entree was surf and turf and everything about it was amazing both by taste and visually. Dessert was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. Ever. And chocolate covered strawberries as well which was the icing on top!

Drink wise-our Valentine Day special came with champagne. We also got other drinks that were all amazing. I got the French 75 and the Aviation. My husband got the Whiskey Sour and the Old Fashioned. Divine.

Honestly super surprised this place is only a couple of weeks old. It’s such a well oiled machine that I expected it to be something that had been here for a couple of decades!

Ambiance was great. Music was just the right level. Lights were dimmed to the right level. Noise was minimal. And the windows showed the gorgeous view outside.

We are on day 2 of our vacation and already plan to go back with the entire family!

Thank you Marissa and everyone who made our first visit one to remember!

Went for dinner the other night, I ordered the shishito tips as an appetizer. The flavors were good but a little over powering on the oyster sauce. For my entree I ordered the pork chop. It was the best pork chop I’ve ever had in my life. I personally thanked chef Zack for it and he was super friendly and personable. He recommended that I try the ribs next time, and I will be back to try them!

We had the opportunity to eat at The Lounge for 2 different evening dinners while on holiday in Steamboat. The restaurant was very nicely designed, very comfortable with seating at tables, booths, and bar. The seating around the open fireplace was warm, inviting and of top notch quality. The restaurant feels spacious with open beams, rich tones, textures and color with plenty of space to move around without disturbing other patrons. The restrooms were clean, with nice features.
The menu was extremely easy to read, as it is back lit allowing great visibility. The selections are interesting, fresh, options in meats, seafood and vegetables/ salads. They have specials and we opted for the special Prime Rib one of the evenings. We were very satisfied. They had some specialty drinks from the bar which we decided to try. They were excellent. Our waiter suggested different items available, and was able to describe selections on the menu. They also allowed us to switch out options for our meal. We were not rushed, we felt we had a very personal experience, we hope others will have as wonderful experience as we had. We will return to have dinner the next time we are on holiday in Steamboat.
Gibson was our waiter and we give him 5 stars.

We had a reservation for 7:45 PM and arrived about 10 minutes early. While waiting in the lobby, the host came over and told us they could not seat us at all tonight because a bartender had left and they were understaffed.

I explained that we had a reservation and were there for dinner, not just drinks. While this was happening, several other parties were seated. When I pointed that out, the host said they had reservations — which we did as well.

She then offered to call another restaurant downtown for us, essentially asking us to leave. Confused, I asked to speak with the manager. The manager said that was not their intention and that we only needed to wait until 7:45, but by that point the situation had already been mishandled and uncomfortable.

We ultimately left. Unfortunately, I can’t comment on the food because we were turned away despite having a reservation. Very disappointing experience and poor communication between staff.
