We ordered chicken tenders, zinger burger which comes with fries, beef tearing and gol gappi (hope I got the name right). Food is quick and fresh and tasty. Milk tea is also good.
Clean!
The place is newly renovated and redecorated (I went to the same place but it was another restaurant, thats how I know). The restroom is clean too!
Awesome staff!
The two ladies who took our oder and served our food were so pleasant. The lady who took the order took time to explain the food selections.
Will definitely go back and recommend to friends.
If you’re looking for close-to-authentic desi Halal food in a nice environment with great ambiance, this is definitely the place to go. The staff are amazing as well. I’ve been there multiple times, and they’re always welcoming, attentive, and friendly.
Mutton Punjabi Karahi ✔️
Both dishes were bursting with authentic flavor—simple, aromatic Shinwari goodness and bold, spicy Punjabi masala. If you love real Pakistani karahi, this place is a must-try! Nabeel bhai gave us complimentary desserts. The staff was friendly and they were very knowledgeable about their dishes..
The masala potatoes are packed with flavor, the omelet is fluffy with the perfect desi spice, and the French toast and pancakes were soft, sweet, and disappeared from the plate way too fast. The smash burger is excellent too.
The space is beautiful, the team is friendly, and the vibe feels like a mix of a classic diner and a warm desi home kitchen. It feels great knowing we finally have a halal breakfast spot in Upper Darby that really delivers.
Already planning my next visit. Go try it, you’ll be glad you did.
We recently visited The Lost Tribe for a family lunch, and the entire experience was exceptional. I had reached out to the owner beforehand, and they welcomed us with remarkable professionalism and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the service, ambiance, and attention to detail stood out.
We started with Papri Chaat and Samosa Chaat; both fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For the main course, we ordered Lamb Shank Pulao, Mutton Shinwari, Haleem, a variety of naan, drinks, and kids’ items like fries and Lollipop Chicken. Every dish was cooked perfectly, rich in flavor, and generously portioned.
For dessert, we enjoyed Gajar Halwa and Kheer, followed by tea to end the meal on a comforting note. The environment was cozy, calm, well‑lit, and culturally vibrant, a space where you can truly relax and enjoy your time.
Overall, The Lost Tribe delivered an outstanding dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic flavors, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
We’ll definitely be returning!
