From a very meaty menu we chose, to share:
* Matador: USDA Prime Grade Rib Eye 400g
* Stuffed baked potato
* Vegetables gratin
We asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare and it came absolutely perfect. The taste and texture were excellent and we finished every little piece. Beautifully done, as were the potato and vegetables.
Really nice, friendly, smiley, Filipino service.
We left very happy!

Could also expand their pasta choices; they only had seafood pasta and we’re allergic.
Staff attitude could improve, given that The Lost Cow’s service charge is quite steep even for the Alona Beach F&B industry.
Been eyeing this restaurant for years. Looking back, I wonder why it took me so long to finally visit.
Ambience 100/100 : intimate quiet restaurant.
Service 100/100: attentive and helpful
Food 120/100: flavours on point
Salads were fresh and flavoured nicely. We enjoyed the baby back ribs and the grilled meats platter.
However the star was the show was the tomahawk (as per the resort, only 2 for sale every day). It comes with 4 sides and 4 sauces (all good), as well as a demonstration of flaming with a mapp gas torch and gentle explanation of the salt and knife used to cut it like knife through butter.
Flavour was fantastic. Honestly I could have gone without the sauces because it’s so good!
Unfortunately I was too excited to take a good photo of the tomahawk. If you love steak, you should go experience it for yourself. Definitely a place for memories, celebrations and anniversaries. Recommended.
Our server was Junnel and and his service was top notch!
i would definitely come back here and recommend it to everyone wanting some great steak.
We had the great catch (pasta), matador (steak), ranger’s roundup (mix meat platter), and midnight train to georgia (pork back ribs). All were so good! This is good for 6pax. We were 4 and it was too much for us. Dessert wasn’t as good as the mains, it was ok. Can skip. Overall a great experience! Needs reservation prior to dining if you’re not staying in Amorita. Would dine here again when I’m in Bohol.
Special mention to Joshua — he served us so well and made the experience even better. Great atmosphere and friendly staff — I’ll definitely be back!
