The chicken at Hangry Joe’s is absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced to your preference.
Ordering was a breeze thanks to the easy-to-use kiosk, though the friendly staff were available if I preferred to order directly. The interior was clean and well-maintained, and it’s great that they offer bathrooms for customers. There’s also plenty of parking, which is super convenient.
I tried the Chicken Sandos, and my wife ordered the Chicken and Waffle. Both were hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The portion sizes were generous and very satisfying. Our order was ready in under 10 minutes, which was impressive.
This place is a must-try! Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to come back for more!

Pricing and taste was what I’d expect from a restaurant versus fast food. Anyone comparing this sandwich or chicken tenders to the likes of Chick Fil A or Bojangles is kidding, this is a whole other level. Staff recommended the medium spice which was just right for those in our group who like spicy. The chicken was the size of a fish and hung well off the bun. The no heat chicken tenders were giant. Chicken was moist with a thick but not too thick breading. Will definitely go back. Only down side was the tiny location with greasy floors that felt like eating in a low end McDonald’s. ♀️

This might be my favorite fried chicken in the area – the variety of options and spice levels means that they’ve got something for everyone, but my favorites are the dry rub wings; they’re cooked to perfection and the seasoning is delicious. I also really like the loaded fries and the Korean chicken nuggets. Will be back!

The place is filthy and dirty. Flies and insects flying all over. We told the staff and they did not care about the cleanliness. Fly flew into our food while we were eating. Unclean and poor customer service. Not to mention how overpriced they have become.

Wow, this place opened up dangerously close to our house. My wife and I had the Mild Chicken Sando, 6-piece “Zing” wings, No Heat Chicken Sando Jr., and Waffle Fries.
The atmosphere is lively and vibrant, though the place is a little on the smaller side.
We ordered through the kiosk, but they also have online orders and in-person ordering. The wait time for our order was ~15minutes. When we received our food we were missing the Waffle Fries, but that was promptly solved.
The sandwiches were of the best we’ve had in a long time. Both were seasoned beautifully, the Sando Jr. was the perfect amount for those who eat just a bit less than the usual, accompanied with crispy waffle fries with their own un spicy sauce. The “Zing” flavor on the 6-piece chicken wings was like nothing I’ve had in a while. It was more on the sweet side, but with a very small hint of spiciness. We chose the blue cheese dipping for the wings and it had actual blue cheese chunks! It was great.
Our total was about ~$33 which to us felt very reasonably priced.
We 100% recommend this to anybody who loves fried chicken. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Got delivery and the waffle fries were still good despite being cold upon arrival (a quick hit in the air fryer restored them to full glory). The chicken sandwich was huge and delicious. I got medium and it was a good balance of flavor and spicy without being too hot. The pickles provided another crunch along with the crispy breading. The sandwich started falling apart in the second half so make sure you have lots of napkins. The mashed potatoes were thick and soft as an alternative to the fries.

I have liked almost everything I’ve tried here, particularly the naked wings and the sandos. The slaw and mac and cheese are also good. I have a complaint though in regards to ordering online which is quite awful.
Trying to order from their website opens 3 extra tabs; when you finally get to the right website you can’t modify anything or make substitutions or even add more than 1 of the same item (you can do this in the cart though) and god forbid you accidentally hit the back button and lose the page, your cart is not saved. Please make your website less janky.

Food was hot and had good flavor, those are the compliments I can give. Other than that everything is pretty overpriced. The interior has a “tiktok food” vibe, if that makes sense. Loud music with graphic walls all around. My biggest gripe however was the service. Two gentlemen working with bad attitudes, especially the heavier set fellow with the beard. Couldn’t have been any more rude. Don’t know if I’ll be back honestly.

Got the chicken sando combo with waffle fries and at the hot level.
I will say it was not hot at all. Flavorful though. I’d definitely try angry hot next time. The fries were really good and plentiful.
The seating and parking is a little tight, but that’s okay.
I’d definitely come back and get an angry hot sando.
