Very good Gumbo and Jambalaya as well as other choices. I know because you get to taste it first before you order. What restaurant does that?! So good I have hard time picked and chose. Service was nice too. Colorful and cozy ambiance like in New Orleans. I’d love to go there for soups when visiting downtown Greenville again.

An Authentic Taste of New Orleans in Greenville!
I just had one of the best seafood gumbos of my life here—rich, complex, and absolutely delicious. But the meal was so much more than that! We started with the charbroiled oysters, which were incredibly fresh and savory. The hush puppies were exquisite, and the fried okra was perfectly seasoned and not at all greasy. The star of the show, though, might have been the side of fried catfish; it was so tender it literally melted in my mouth. Incredible meal from start to finish!

The pinnacle of dining experience. Not five minutes after walking in the door they already have a soup flight on our table to taste test. Everything on the menu is delicious it’s hard to choose, but they’ve made it easy, they have a soup sampler, or a half po’ boy with soup. My favorite was probably the gator, usually it’s a bit tougher, but here it was so tender. The food came out quick, and was reasonably priced. The walls were covered in New Orleans decor just like a Cajun restaurant should, and the staff was very friendly each time I went in.

My wife and I stopped by The Lost Cajun during the SEC Tournament, and we were glad we did. It’s a small place, but the food was excellent. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo Pasta and my wife had the Shrimp Stir Fry. Both dishes were delicious, flavorful, and well seasoned.

I asked our waitress if the kitchen could tone down the spice level for my dish, and they delivered perfectly. The flavors were still great without being too spicy.

We left the game early and arrived before the big crowd, which worked out well for us. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in Greenville.

I am in the area for recording content and found this great cajun spot in Downtown Greenville. From start to finish, the experience was great. I caught them during a slow lunch, which was perfect because I got to get my server James on camera as he walked me around the restaurant. My Po Boy and red beans with rice were seasoned well and with nice portion sizes. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in the area.

⭐️ *Exceptional Cajun Dining Experience* ⭐️ As someone who travels to town for work several times a year, I’m thrilled every time I visit The Lost Cajun. My wife and I recently dined there during happy hour and were yet again very impressed.

*Happy Hour Highlights*
We enjoyed sharing the Catfish Bites and Cajun Sausage with a nice mustard and tartar sauce for dipping, paired with a featured beer, Kickflipper IPA.

*Main Courses*
I had the Chicken Po’boy*, which was expertly prepared – crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned with a delicious Cajun sauce. I also opted for the crispy Cajun fries as a side. My wife loved her Catfish Etouffee. Our server, Sophie provided warm and attentive service, making our dining experience better.

*The Verdict*
The Lost Cajun delivers authentic Cajun cuisine with great service. I’m looking forward to visiting again on my next work trip.

This was our first time eating here…mayb our last. The food itself was delicious. We really enjoyed the flavor of everything. However the portion sizes for the price we paid was definitely not worth it. I have been told since they partner with door dash and we ordered online that makes the prices higher but I’m not sure. We picked our food up it wasn’t delivered so there shouldn’t have been increased prices. We paid $14.94 per appetizer and $12.10 for 5 small fried oysters for example. That’s a lil rich for my blood. Now food quality makes u not feel as bad about it …but barely.

We went to Lost Cajun on North Main Street Greenville, Sc November 29th. This was our first visit there and definitely will not be our last.
Melissa, our server, took exceptional care of us. She was very patient as we asked about different menu items. Melissa also provided great lunch item suggestions. She was very friendly and a pleasure to talk with.
We ordered the seafood platter and Voodoo pasta. Both dishes came out hot and delicious. Food was cooked very well and tasted fresh. We were pleasantly impressed. The portions were nice and pricing was very reasonable.
If you’re in the downtown Greenville, SC area look up Lost Cajun restaurant and give it a try.

I had the crawfish ettoufe, hush puppies and a beignet. The portion sizes were huge and that was just about the best thing about the food. The ettoufe was a bit bland and I had to add a lot of hot sauce. The hush puppies were served with a cinnamon butter but would have been much better with an aioli. And the beignet was so far from being a beignet it was sad. Beignets are fried, not baked. I’m seeing pictures in over reviews of the beignets and they look so different from the one I had. Mine was basically a large piece of bread with an extreme amount of powdered sugar. It had the taste and consistency of a dense piece of sourdough.
