Every time I come here it’s cold uncooked fries not even filled to the top. Pulling up to the parking spot to wait not only for my meal but the 4 other cars more and likely waiting.
And none of my items come with monopoly pieces.I know previously when they were doing monopoly, there was some type of scam involved with mcdonalds employess. Kinda feels like history is repeating itself. I called the 1800 number and filed a complaint. We’ll see where it goes. I also asked for bbq sauce for the nuggets and received spicy buffalo. Had to go through the drive through again for 15 minutes only for the employee at the window to have an attitude and had given me the wrong sauce
Because she didn’t want to have to restock the BBQ sauce. How dare i lol.
And while we’re on the drive-thru experiene, lets just say, the outside trash bin by the drive-thru area is often full and sitting right there on the sidewalk. Not exactly the aroma you want greeting you before you roll down the window to order food. They do flip it over once it’s emptied (which is a slightly better view), but that’s a low bar to clear.
The fries, oh, the fries. Once upon a time, McDonald’s fries were legendary. Hot, crispy, and sprinkled with just the right amount of salt. But lately? They’ve been lukewarm, soggy, and tired… like they’ve been sitting there questioning their life choices before making it into my bag.
And can someone PLEASE explain what’s going on with the milkshake machine? We’re nearly in 2026, and it’s still a hit-or-miss situation. Is it on strike? Does it only work on odd-numbered days? I just want a milkshake without needing luck or crossing my fingers!
And when you walk inside, whether the lobby’s busy or completely empty, not one employee looks up to say hello or “we’ll be right with you.” A simple greeting goes a long way, and that small human touch is what’s missing here.
McDonald’s used to be about consistency and that golden-arch warmth we all grew up with. I still believe it can be, but this Temple location has some serious catching up to do, both inside and out.
Here’s to hoping one day the fries rise again, the orders come out complete, and the milkshake machine finally comes back from vacation. A girl can dream, right?
We were glad we chose this McDonald’s location!
