DON’T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!! Upon arriving at The Loop, the restaurant smelled as if something was burning (dirty oven?) it lingered throughout our meal, giving me a headache! The pizza was so disappointing, it’s presentation was not inviting and we really didn’t want to eat it! It looked as if a beginner cook was attempting to make a pizza! There wasn’t any sauce and the toppings were skimpy! I’ve been patronizing The Loop restaurants for over 30 years when Mike and Terri Snieder first opened in Jacksonville . Since Mike and Terri, sold out, The Loop has steadily declined! Even in 2025 people want a value for their hard earned money! Whatever happened to The Loop’s fabulous Chicago style pizza? You now have packets of Parmesan cheese available for the pizza, no longer the dispensers with fresh grated cheese! The last six times we have patronize this restaurant, each time has been a negative experience! WE ARE DONE, WE WILL NOT BE BACK!!!:(

I’ve been coming to the loop for over 20 years and today I must share my displeasure for what I ordered. I always get the Feta Mediterranean Salad and this just looks horrible. $16 for this! $5 to add a piece of chicken and it’s not even a full chicken breast. I’m so disappointed and some of the lettuce is brown.

I love this place the tomato basil soup is the best. Everyone is super friendly. It did take a while to get the food but they were busy so I understand. I’m not a fan of the tipping before I even get my food and I do have to stand in line to order, pick up my food drinks and refills so it really limits the tip I will leave but it is what it is. I definitely recommend this place

I stopped into The Loop Restaurant last night and ordered the Bacon Cheddar Burger—and wow, it was easily the best burger I’ve had in years. The aged cheddar was sharp and perfectly melted, the applewood smoked bacon added that irresistible savory crunch, and the whole burger was cooked to perfection. Every bite was balanced, flavorful, and downright crave‑worthy.
I’m only in town for a couple of days, but I’m seriously considering making this a burger‑a‑day tradition while I’m here. If you’re looking for a burger that sets the bar high, The Loop delivers in every way.

I savored the Great American Cheese Burger (Medium rare) with a side of broccoli and an Oreo Shake. I also enjoyed an Asian Salad topped with hot grilled chicken. Five stars all around! The staff exemplified attentiveness, alertness, and good spirits, gracefully handling upset customers and transforming negative energy into positive solutions. My food was fabulous—the burger was juicy, the broccoli perfectly cooked, the shake was vibrant enough to make me dance, and the Asian salad truly stole the show. I wholeheartedly recommend this location.

Was here on Sunday 2/01 for lunch a little after 11 a.m. We only ordered 2 kids chicken tenders for my 2 toddlers. The first complaint is, it took almost 20 minutes for 2 little plates of tenders! There was only 2 other tables in there besides us. The second complaint is, the breading on the chicken was hard as a rock. We could barely cut it for our kids. My toddler couldn’t eat stab into them with a fork no matter how hard he tried. Really disappointed in timeliness and overall quality of the food.

My sister and came here Dec 12 2024 as she recommended this place. We got hungry and waited on my sister’s car to be fixed down the road. Beautiful decor as we walked in and clean. Right away we grab the menu, took a seat, chose our food then walked to register and ordered. Chose blue cheese chips(reccomend) and rosemary chips(tasted like reg potatoe chips). You get alot. Chose soup of the day bowl which was my favorite Italian wedding soup lovely suprise. Sis chose cup of onion cheesy soup. Looked delicious. We thought we ordered 2 side salads but they were big and fresh. Could of used more salad dressing next time. In all not bad 2 soups, 2 salads, 2 chips and 2 drinks for $45. Noticed business people stop by here and families as well. They do have kids menu and baby changing station here. There’s gluten free and vegan options as well on menu.
Would love to come back and try their pizzas and sandwhiches.

They make a good Freddy’s burger. Don’t ever hurt this place. It is a local eatery. They now have the best most convenient homemade caesar dressing in town. My dreams have come true! I can’t believe it!
I enjoy getting the dressing on the side salad accompanying my burger. I am amazed at this deal for the quality and plenty amount of food. Where can you get homemade ceasar in town besides Chart House’s fancy salad bar? How nice is it to get a quality burger made your way proving lots of protein!
I grew up frequenting two original locations.
They have always had other good food like tomato soup, goat cheese salad, chicken Caesar wrap that I would get take out, best steak fries in town, clean good tasting soda, quality milkshakes, and basic quality side condiments of your choosing. I like their croutons.
I might start getting it to go. People don’t ever leave me alone after the new owner took over. “Perhaps you didn’t see.” I had gas afterwards.

Food was Ok, burger was overcooked for a medium and basically fell apart, not the best. Onion Rings were delicious. Wife’s salad was delicious according to her, she like the onion rings also. Can you really rate this place for service? The basically take you order and you pick it up/so serving yourself with everything, except picking up your plate. What We ate.

I ordered the mushroom swiss burger that was good , but where it all went wrong was with my wife’s food she got the bbq burger without tomato, the bacon was burnt and they forgot the onions so we asked for them and they literally gave us a sous of cold sautéed onions….. they didn’t even put them on the flat top! I should have taken pictures but was pissed so yeah I’d go back for lunch when there is actually management there or something!
