If you’re visiting St. Thomas and only have time for one unforgettable meal, make it The Longboard. From the moment we walked in, we knew this place was special — and by the end of the night, it was hands down our favorite dining experience in both St. Thomas and St. John.
The food was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. The flavors were bold yet balanced, and everything felt thoughtfully crafted. It’s the kind of meal where you’re already planning your next visit before dessert even arrives.
And the view? Absolutely to die for. The setting perfectly captures the magic of the islands — stunning water views, warm breezes, and that relaxed Caribbean atmosphere that makes you never want to leave. Whether you go for sunset or under the stars, the ambiance alone is worth it.
What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. Mary, Crystal, and Sarah were incredible. They made us feel completely at home — warm, attentive, genuine, and fun. Their hospitality turned a great meal into an unforgettable evening. You can tell they care deeply about their guests and love what they do.
We dined at several other places throughout St. John and St. Thomas, and while many were good, The Longboard stood out above the rest. Amazing food, breathtaking views, and wonderful servers who make you feel like family — it doesn’t get better than that.

We stayed at the Limetree Resort and after a long day of traveling and a couple of flights, we ended our day at The Longboard for dinner. It turned out to be the best decision of our day. Cory was a wonderful server and even helped us decide between delicious options. The calamari was superb (Cory’s suggestion) and my now fiancé loved it, this coming from a man who never enjoys it elsewhere. I tried my fiancé’s jerk chicken with mofongo and genuinely had to return the next night to order it myself, it was incredible. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and any staff that passed us was sure to make sure we were enjoying our time as well. I couldn’t say enough positive things about this restaurant and staff, and I would highly recommend it to anyone on the island.

my husband and i stayed at the resort and came to longboard almost every night for dinner, every food & drink item we had was AMAZING! 100% get the calamari it was our favorite menu item! the staff is so nice & friendly also! would HIGHLY recommend you come here on your trip to st thomas!!

Beautiful late afternoon experience at Longboard. After a day in Charlotte Amalie, we drove out to The Longboard finding ample parking nearby. We hit just in time for happy hour sitting at a table along the water overlooking the quiet beach and sun going down. Ray and her team provided great service. We ordered multiple times with a few small plates each time. The St Thomas sushi wrap, the catch of the day sliders, and the tacos were all delicious. We even took some home! We have finally found a place we’d like to return again and again.

My wife and I stayed at Limetree for our Honeymoon, so going to the Longboard was super convenient and 100% delicious. The Poke Bowls were phenomenal, the ceviche was to die for and their drinks were perfect to wash the food down with! On top of the fact you get to eat oceanside with wonderful views of the sunsets and cruise ships heading back out to sea.
We had Cory serve us twice and he was such a pleasure to get to know and made us feel like locals, not just tourists. Big props to him for making our experience that much better! We will definitely be coming back to dine whether we stay at the resort or not! Thanks team!

We had a great dinner at The Longboard! Highly recommend!! Food was fantastic and we especially liked the trio, calamari, poke bowl, and key lime pie ice cream for dessert. Go see Scotty P because he was THE BEST server!! Gave great recommendations, fun conversations, and prompt service. Thank you Scott!!!

Food excellent. We both had ceviche and a 1.5 lb Lobster; all was delicious. Service from Scotty was outstanding. He even brought out the lobster to show. Beautiful views from the restaurant outdoor deck of the beach and sunset
