I went here for a birthday dinner and was definitely expecting something amazing after hearing it was the best steak in Cincinnati. The ambiance is nice, dim lit but a very small dining space and you can see almost every table from where you are. The service is good but not too fancy if that makes sense. The smoky jalapeño dip was incredible. Do not waist $20 on the butter board though. The steak was good but not the best I’ve had. Just okay in all. There is almost no other protein than steak on the menu (no chicken) and they do have fish but there is very wacky additions to it that don’t fit their vibe for sure

I’ve been looking forward to eating here for more than a year. Upon entering, was greeted with a mid-century vibe and an offer of a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. Classy. We were well attended to by friendly wait staff in a small dining space that was intimate but noisy mostly due to the small bar. The Lavender Bees Knees was a delicious and refreshing drink off their creative cocktail menu. Ordered the oysters and bone marrow starters. Like another reviewer noted, the oysters had too much Panko. More notably, the bone marrow was a bit too gelatinous for my taste. For the main, the butcher’s cut was ordered medium rare with an onion and mushroom side. While I understand the cut was marbled for flavor, it was simply too fatty to enjoy each bite. Sourced within 200 miles or not, for a restaurant that prides itself on steak, this was most unfortunate. While the side dish was tasty it could have done with a bit less oil. Dessert was creme brulee served with a latte-like coffee. Overall, this restaurant has a great location, ambiance, presentation, staff, and drinks menu. But, for the price ($250 for two) at least on this night, the food itself didn’t live up to the reputation Lonely Pine is known for.

This place is amazing. The food is fantastic we went here for our anniversary and had a great time. It was my first time trying bone marrow and it was really yummy. We ordered the cowboy ribeye as the main course to split and it was cooked to perfection. The fingerling potatoes were also excellent, and the smoked Gouda Mac was a little bit strong for me personally but also very good. My favorite thing had to be the smore dessert which is made to look like a little campfire. I would literally go back just for that. They also offered mocktails for those who don’t drink which is awesome. Definitely check out their lavender lemonade. This atmosphere is cozy and very welcoming and all the staff were super pleasant and knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning. Excellent experience.

A Culinary Masterpiece in Cincinnati – An Unforgettable Steakhouse Experience

From the moment you step through the doors, you know you’re in for something extraordinary. Greeted with a glass of chilled champagne, the experience at this high-end bespoke steakhouse is nothing short of indulgent. The ambiance is elegant yet inviting, setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable meal.

The menu is a testament to seasonality and craftsmanship of their chef, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients curated into stunning dishes. Steak lovers will revel in the selection, but the Tomahawk Bone-In Steak is a true showstopper—expertly seared, perfectly marbled, and packed with rich, beefy flavor. Elevate the experience with their signature butter mixes—decadent, house-made infusions that take each bite to another level. And if you’re a fan of bold, unctuous flavors, the bone marrow is a must-try.

Not in the mood for steak? No problem. The menu offers a refined selection of fresh seafood and elevated burgers, ensuring that every guest finds their perfect plate. And whatever you do, save room for dessert—the final, sweet note of an impeccable dining journey.

For those who truly appreciate the art of eating, this isn’t just dinner—it’s a celebration of flavor, quality, and hospitality at its finest. Whether you’re marking a special occasion or simply treating yourself to the best, this Cincinnati steakhouse is an experience you won’t soon forget.

Exceptional service and incredibly high-quality food for very fair prices. I had a wonderful dinner here and especially enjoyed the bone marrow, cowboy ribeye, and crème brûlée. The service was personable, prompt, and overall enjoyable.

My new favorite go to!! I’ve been here about 3 or 4 times so I feel confident in my 5 star rating. Range of steaks for any consumer and the drinks are always so fabulous. The staff is always so friendly and happy and they have such a good team. They will sell out of certain menu items by the end of the night so make sure you get your reservation!

Went for a date night/celebration, and WOW, that food is *amazing.* The butcher’s cut I got was to die for. Every bite was heavenly. The seasonal squash—unique and delicious. The onions and mushrooms? These aren’t just portobellos, these are varieties of mushrooms. And the desserts? Just perfection. Cannot recommend more highly! The chef is doing an amazing job curating a creative and mouthwatering menu. Love the vibe there too. I will definitely be going back

Absolutely amazing! The bone marrow was stunning. The kale salad was one of the best salads I’ve had. The potatoes and seasonal vegetables of squash were delicious. The steak is extraordinary. Better than the last few Jeff Ruby steaks I’ve had. The hot chocolate cream brulee was magical. Overall, so impressed! Definitely will be back!

My husband and I went to Lonely Pine for dinner last night and our experience was pretty bad to say the least. We have been to this restaurant many times and this was the first time the food was terrible! The first three pictures are from last night. The oysters were very dry and covered in a lot of panko bread crumbs; I only had two and was coughing pretty badly which led to me throwing up in the bathroom. Also, there wasn’t any sauce like they had in the past (see the other oyster picture). So I left that restaurant hungry, which sucked because we spent around $75.

The bread and butter board was also not worth $20; the bread didn’t taste nor look like the focaccia bread from the other picture (also referenced). It definitely didn’t look like it came from Allez Bakery. The only dish that was good was the burger that my husband ordered. This place is way too expensive and shouldn’t be serving low quality dishes. I’m very disappointed and we will not be coming back anytime soon.
