Small restaurant with a good atmosphere.
Food was lovely, ordered too much , but was able to bring the leftovers home.
I recently had dinner at Raj Bari in Clifton and was genuinely impressed, not just by the food, but by the warm hospitality that made the whole experience special.
I ordered different food and all of them are fabulous but the Lamb Korai and Dal were the show stoppers. The lamb was tender and cooked in a rich, spicy sauce full of flavour and depth. The dal was smooth, comforting, and perfectly seasoned just like the home-cooked Bangladeshi simple dish and so satisfying….
What really stood out, though, was the wonderful hospitality from Anis and the team. We were welcomed warmly and even given complimentary poppadoms, which was such a nice touch and set the tone for a great evening.
The service throughout was friendly, attentive, and genuine; exactly what you want from a local favourite.
If you’re after Bangladeshi flavours and a place where you’re treated like a valued guest, Raj Bari is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning.
