We had the best time at The Lola for brunch yesterday. We’ve been here before — we actually came in the summer — & the décor was completely different back then. This time it felt so much more fitting and elevated. The ambiance was great.
The food was AMAZING — great quality, generous portions, & so reasonably priced. We were completely stuffed by the end (in the best way).
Seven of us: $153.78 before tip
The service truly stood out. Hector was incredible, and the second waiter (we can’t remember his name) was just as amazing. They were constantly checking in, clearing the table, and making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. They even let us stay to take photos & took a few, which we really appreciated. On top of that, the second waiter surprised our friend with a drink that said “Happy Birthday” on it.
They honestly made our friend’s birthday brunch unforgettable. Between the updated vibe, incredible food, & outstanding service, it felt like a whole new experience. We’ll definitely be back.

I had such a delicious meal at the Lola last night! I have to shoutout my waitress Ava, she was great and helped us put together the perfect order… especially the mashed potatoes! The strawberry martini was also great. Definitely will be coming here often!

The LOLA in Hoboken has truly done a complete turnaround from what it once was. The food quality has significantly improved, the drinks are well-crafted, and the atmosphere now makes it an ideal place to gather with friends. It’s refreshing to finally have a dependable spot in Hoboken that delivers both great dining and a lively social setting. A much-needed and very welcome change. Can’t wait to go back!

Hector was great, not only him all the staff. Attentive super friendly. Food was so tasty. I had the TABLE wich and inhaled it. Atmosphere was nice, with the DJ in the background. Music was quiet enough to have a nice conversation.

I really wanted to love Lola in Hoboken and give it five stars because the food itself was good overall, especially if you enjoy sweeter brunch options. However, my experience left me feeling a bit rushed and unwelcome, so I’m settling at three stars.
If you’re looking to relax, catch up with friends, and enjoy a leisurely brunch, this may not be the best spot. The 90-minute table timer felt very rigid, especially when there was plenty of open seating around us. I completely understand the need for time limits, but the way it was enforced came across as rushed and a bit unprofessional. Spacing reservations out with a small buffer might help guests wrap up more comfortably without feeling pushed out.
Service also played a big role in my rating. The hostess wasn’t very warm or welcoming, which set the tone for the visit. Good hospitality makes such a difference, especially during brunch when people are trying to unwind and have a good time.
As for the food, it was good overall but leaned on the sweeter side. I would personally skip the chicken and waffles next time, it wasn’t my favorite dish on the menu.
I truly think this place has potential to be a five-star experience. If the front-of-house service felt more inviting and the timing felt less pressured, it would have made a big difference. I might consider coming back for dinner or another meal that isn’t on such a tight schedule, but I don’t see myself returning for brunch.

I tried their $30 early bird bottomless brunch and it was such a steal! The food was incredible — the Lola Burger literally melted in my mouth, the Chicken Craze Wrap and mozzarella basil toast were packed with flavor, and the chocolate lava cake was out of this world!
The vibe was lively, service was great, and it’s honestly one of the best brunch spots in Hoboken. Can’t wait to go back!

Very chic restaurant. Right by the water for a lovely view. Amazing staff. Unfortunately I got the steak and eggs with the description of a ribeye and as seen the eggs and salad take up more space for a $30 plate. Ordered it cooked medium and it came well done. Server was very understanding but I kept my meal as is to not waste anything and was able to finish it. Partner got the burritos and did not finish it. You are paying more for nice staff and the hip atmosphere.

The Lola is everything! From brunch to dinner, every dish is as beautiful as it is delicious. I went for brunch and ended up staying way longer than expected because the vibe turned into a full-on party . The cocktails are amazing and the food is next level—pancakes, steak & eggs, tacos… all 10/10. The space is gorgeous and perfect for photos, and the staff made the whole experience feel special. Definitely my new Hoboken go-to!
