Second time trying this place and I must say… it’s alright! I’ve had better Hawaiian food. The customer service is terrible. Took forever to get my order and it was incorrect. I ordered bacon fried rice, broccoli with chicken katsu and Korean barbecued beef, broccoli and macaroni salad. I didn’t receive bacon fried rice I got white rice. The macaroni salad container was not filled which upset me because paying $40 plus dollars and not receiving a reasonable portion of food is disappointing. Another issue is this place is cashless. Being a cashless restaurant is somewhat discriminatory as some
folks might not have the option of debit or credit cards available to them.

For the price you pay, they give plenty of food and the quality is very good. I tried the beef stew curry with chicken katsu. The only negative was that the macaroni salad tasted a little bland compared to other places in the area. Also one interesting thing is that they have crumbled packet ramen in the cabbage salad, which seemed a little odd at first, but I liked it since it made the salad more crunchy. If you order a bigger place (around 13 dollars) you are basically getting two meals which is a great deal.

Went to the loft today to experiment with Hawaiian food! My husbands food on the left was amazing the meat had such an interesting flavor. My Hawaiian grilled chicken however was the driest and most unflavored chicken I’ve had in my entire life. Fair warning to others!!

Place was nice and clean the service was a little slow but the food was tasty, portions were small. The boy that took our order was kinda rude for some reason from the get go. Maybe go again if he not waiting or just order take out to try the different items on the menu. I love hawaiian style plate lunch places cause I’m from Hawaii wish that boy would have had more Aloha in him.

I have always enjoyed the food from here. Even when it was in Torrance on Hawthorne years back. The Island Fried chicken is my favorite, but the Kalbi, Katsu Chicken and Charsiu Chicken are close behind. I also enjoy getting the Chinese Chicken salad for a meal every once in awhile. This place is good to eat at but I see lots of people getting the food to go. The take-out line seems to always be busy. Oh I don’t get appetizers a lot from here but of course the Spam Musubi is good and I enjoyed the Kalua Pig Egg Rolls. If you have room the Jello Cheesecake is delicious and reminds me of my grandmother’s dessert.

During this shelter in place during COVID-19 I’ve eaten here about 2 times a month at least. Since they were doing lots of take out before this thing they do it well. Also they are really organized and are running smoothly. Note -Only taking credit/debit card. Please support them, the food is good, good portion size and the staff are nice.

Sadly it’s been a few months since I’ve been here to get food. There are a few changes since the last post. You can now enter the restaurant. They no longer have a cashier outside. They seem to have streamlined the menu a bit. It’s still pretty much to-go only but they are allowing people to eat in the restaurant. Unfortunately it’s not the same as before. They moved the booths around and some are gone. I hope they are only doing this to keep the restaurant going. They are still only taking credit/debit and no cash. Please come and patronize them, they are worth it.
