Our waiter, Deandre (sorry not sure of spelling) was fantastic! He was very attentive and personable. He made sure all our needs were met and gave us tips on the specials and was just very kind. We got a bunch of appetizers and he made sure everything was just right. We were there celebrating my sister’s birthday. He noticed, and brought her out an impromptu ice cream sandwich cake with a candle, making it extra special. He was quick to take away our used dishes and checked on us frequently, but not in an annoying way. He was relatable and laid back. We will definitely be going back!

Wife & I never had food. Just drinks. Shiryl took great care of us. She was simply wonderful! Later, Cassandra came on duty and provided us with great service as well. Thank you both very much!
Highly recommend The Lodge in the historic district of Ocala!

First and foremost, the “host” for Bingo Night must believe since I’m someone of COLOR that I wouldn’t know the songs to play Bingo – when I in fact knew the names of most the tunes he played. He went around giving everyone a Bingo card except me. Distasteful, disrespectful, and very much so typical Ocala racism.
**But had the FULL audacity to play songs ft Ludacris, Michael Jackson, etc., make it make sense.

My server was sweet. She was tending to so many tables but she was still as attentive as she could be.

The Robin grilled cheese was pretty good but the fries – oh my gracious the fries are bland. The fries resulted in a low rating.

Decent atmosphere but obviously not the place for individuals with melanated skin.

I came for the AYCD wine but they didn’t have my preferred wine so I went with the Wild Blueberry Cider – can’t go wrong with a cider.

I, personally, cannot recommend this place based off my experience BUT I won’t steer people from giving it a chance. They got my money but it’s certainly the last.

My family went on a Monday night for music bingo and dinner. Food and service were very good. Owner was there and very welcoming. They had great prizes. Kids eat free on Mondays. My daughter won a Taylor Swift album. Overall just a wonderful experience. Will be going back and do recommend them.

Great drinks and food with friendly staff. The food is not your typical pub food. It is higher quality. I had a very good buffalo flat bread and my wife had Mac and Cheese with broccoli added. Price was a value. Drinks were strong and the beer cold. Also, dog friendly.

We wanted to try something new and because it was Presidents Day many places were closed. We decided to check out The Lodge Brick City.. first reluctant because it had the bar vibe and it wasn’t too busy. As soon as we sat down we were take care of by Jordy who was holding down the entire place alone. She was very efficient and friendly. Our food came and was pleasantly delicious. We had a great dinner.

Visited a local state park and wanted a bite to eat. The outside of the place looked great but it was inside that didn’t make it. First, ate at the bar with wind that blew everything onto the floor. Another craft beer bar that you never know what it will taste like and no regular beers. Tried the gator bites app. Well, it doesn’t taste like chicken and the burt grease taste was not good either. Tried the smash burger and wraw fries. Yes, I think they coated the fries in flower and they were not cooked inside. I would not eat them. The burger well it was not double grounded so it really wasn’t a smash burger. The 12 people at the bar with one bar tender while the server had no customers tells you the service was ok. Would not recommend the place unless you fancy animal heads and sports tvs.

We were just passing through and stopped in the historic downtown Ocala square for dinner. I asked for the portabella “burger” but they were out of caps, so the chef kindly prepared me a vegan entree of specially made broccoli “burgers” over tomatoes, with peppers and a special sauce. The creation was a success! Very tasty.
My husband had the loaded grilled cheese – he called it comfort food and said it was awesome!
The ONLY drawback was the fries were not crispy but they still had good flavor.
I also tried a craft beer and it was quite good.

Food was pretty good, my wife ordered the pork belly and liked it, it was over cooked, she asked for medium rare but got well done and fries were great but a little salty. My daughter got the pulled pork Mac and cheese grilled cheese, it’s huge, I tasted it because she said it was a little rich, needs a side of BBQ sauce to go with the sandwich. I got the pepperoni flatty, which was ok but I probably won’t order it again. All in all it was pretty good just a little tweaking to kick it up a notch. Atmosphere was great with the college football games on. We’ll definitely be going back. Oh and the pretzel with beer cheese was great.

Out waitress was Jessica and she was on point, water glasses never went dry, mixed drinks came out quick, the appetizer came out soon after and food came out shortly after that. Being that the place was somewhat busy we were very satisfied.

Local bar scene meets comfort food. Our waitress was very attentive, kind, and on point. Bar was very clean, and tables were not sticky, which is a pet peeve of mine. Drinks came out quickly, were well balanced and delicious. Beer was craft and local, crisp, cold, and tasted clean. Our bartender Darcy was very sweet, friendly, knew the area and was also very attentive. Now, the food… the poutine fries which were a play on disco fries, that gravy is the stuff dreams are made of. their grilled cheese is fabulous, they give the option of 2 cheeses to choose with whichever protein you like. my SO had a bacon cheeseburger, which was wonderful, cooked to perfection, bacon nice and crispy. 5 stars in my book. definitely worth stopping in.
