This place is 10 stars!!! The service is great! The guys are so nice, knowledgeable of there menu and willing to accommodate if needed.The atmosphere is homey. THE FOOD IS TO DIE FOR!!!. Today was our second time here and it was just as great as the first time. CONSISTENCY in there food flavor and presentation was spot on. They even offer half sandwiches, no one does that. I’m so thankful they do as I don’t eat much and hate throwing food away. This is definitely one of our favorite lunch spots in Portland. Thank you guys for providing what every restaurant should: excellent service,great atmosphere and the best place to go have a great lunch made with quality ingredients and love!! Below is a picture of truly the best grilled cheese I have ever had in a restaurant and I can truthfully say the best corn chowder I have ever tasted!!!!

Sandwiches are delicious and the atmosphere makes me feel like I’m at the cottage on Peaks. Service is always welcoming and helpful. Soups are delicious and bursting with flavor. Stop in and say hi to Casey and let him fill you up with a scrumptious sandwich!

What a diamond. We came back to see if the great quality and service was a fluke or if it would be the same. It was fantastic. The corn chowder is so packed with flavor. These are the types of places we need more of. Friendly staff that cares. Local press is a must.

Stopped in to grab lunch to go. Very friendly staff. Not too long of a wait for it being lunch rush and all. Had the Buena Vista and it was great. Was a fun treat to see they had old fashioned glass bottles of Coca-Cola, so got one of those too. Was a great lunch and would eat here again if I was in the area!

Absolutely my favorite sandwich place of all time. Staff is always super friendly, vibe is amazing. Just a hole in the wall I stumbled upon whilst exploring south portland. T-shirts are super cool and worth it. The big “o” is by far a must try roast beef sandwich but the orchard and there’s a ham one that are also to die for. I live for panini. Go now!!

I’m continually impressed by the low-key deliciousness available here. The Back Shore is my favorite and offers ham, blue cheese, spinach, and grapes (pictured). Most sandwiches have a similar vibe. Perfect mix of savory and sweet. Local beers on tap, hot/cold sandwich options and soup. 3 veg options available. Usually not crowded. Once I biked here in the pouring rain and they offered me towels from the kitchen. I recommend it highly!
