Food was great. Had gumbo, shrimp basket, salad, seafood platter. The fried grouper was excellent. Nice people. Server was prompt and checked on us 3 times. We arrived around 6PM on a Friday night and wait for a table wasn’t bad for us but it soon became very crowded with people standing. It was about 45 minutes to get food once ordered but they were busy. It’s a small place with a bar and an outside eating area but it was too cold for outside (but some were out there :). Reasonably priced. Definitely recommend because the food was great but maybe next time we’ll do a late afternoon dinner before the rush :).

I will be back….. Fresh and hot. Not very spicy so I loved that. Couldn’t find meat in the gumbo, so I’ll ask them next time to stir that pot and get me the good stuff. Staff was super sweet and I loved the outdoor seating. Best frozen margarita ever and I just got back from Mexico.

NOW, this place is on fire! Great seafood. Great service. Good prices. What more do you want? Oh yeh, super friendly and when the weather is nice, there is a great, covered patio. And I love that their lunch is so fast!

Passing through-thought I would try it. Was greeted with fast friendly service. Menu prices were very reasonable but I wanted raw oysters and so paid market price. Would eat there again.

This place was highly recommended, but our experience was horrible. The hood went out and we gave grace for the kitchen. However, the food took way too long, three of our five items were overcooked, and one meal came out with the wrong entree. Grilled fish so overcooked our guest had to use his knife to cut it! With all of that we walked away paying over $104.00. No discount or consideration for the wrong meal that had to be taken to go because everyone else was done.

We had to go to Columbiana and tried the local oyster house. I was amazed at the quality and quantity of food at a great price. It was better than you get at the gulf. We got the tuna dip and it’s 2 scoops not one scoop like at the steamer in orange beach , The shrimp are lightly coated and fried and are big.on the seafood platter there were 2 huge grouper filets They would be $24 each at Publix if you could even find them. The deviled crab was the best ever. The cole slaw was the best I’ve had , the French fries were good. I saw crab legs on a board behind the bar and got a pound of them. They were the best seasoned I’ve had. You can taste it in the meat. Usually it’s just on the shell. They were fresh and cooked perfectly where you can crack them and get the meat out . I’m definitely driving from Pelham to come back soon !!

We happened upon the once-yearly (I believe) shrimp and crawfish boil at the Oyster House. Not only was the food absolutely amazing and reasonably priced, but the waiters and waitresses were all so kind and made sure our “plates” never emptied. Great event and great staff! Thank you!

Food is good, especially the oysters. I’ve only ever seen one waitress and who I would assume is the manager/owner, both are nice. Drinks are good as well.

We had lunch there recently and were disappointed with the experience. The fish was mushy and lacked texture. My partner ordered a hamburger all the way, hold the ketchup. It took a long time to get our food (3 tables were already seated and 2-3 folks were at the bar). What he got was literally a patty and a bun . She had to go back and get the rest, and they don’t have pickles. Who doesn’t have pickles??? The portion was ample but the meat was dry, like it had been reheated. I really wanted to have a place to grab lunch in Columbiana but I can’t see coming back. Getting napkins and refills took ages, the server was very kind but I don’t think she’s been trained.
