Love the place.. I stop in every time I’m in town. Great assortment of gifts and eye catching stuff for yourself or friends. I can’t pass up their ice cream! And fresh pastries. Tell Joe or Greg I sent you!!

We didn’t try any food/donuts/cookies, but they looked good. Kids were in love with the rock vending machine! There were lots of little trinkets and gifts that were available to buy. The cashier guy we dealt with was really good and made jokes to the kids while getting ice cream. He was VERY genuine and very nice!

I wanted to like this place:

Local Oven’s pastries managed to have a MUSTY taste.

It might be that their paper products absorbed the smell from wherever they were stored. I could not eat the sour cream donut.
[Short story: PDC is a very old, small town-and a lot of the buildings/businesses smell much the same (even GHS Clinic).]

Very nice personal service and baked goodies. I really liked their coffee as well. Scones were so tasty, I bought more! Fun atmosphere. A jewel in the community.

Love this place. We were passing through and decided to stop on a recommendation. It was worth it. Fun items to purchase, delish pastries and ice cream. The latter we weren’t able to try, but the pastries were great as well was the selection of spices, teas and yummiest. I can’t forget the service. Pop and son were friendly with a fun sense of humor. I’d stop if going this way again.

This was a great surprise as we walked around downtown. My family purchased scones, bread, and some other treats.
Also, the store had lots of nice things I would love to buy but did not need. My favorite was the bingo cards for driving trips.

Went early on a Saturday morning and there was quite a bit of a selection. Got one of this one of that and everyone liked the choices. The guy behind the counter was funny and nice. I didn’t get any scones or cookies but they looked delicious and I will have to make a point to stop in again to try them out. I would recommend.

Nothing fancy. The muffin I had was rock hard (not edible). My wife had an apple turnover that was good, so it kinda made up for the muffin. Maybe it was because we got there at the end of the day. Might be worth the stop if you get there when they open. I will give them credit for being 1 of the few places that was open on a Tuesday in the town.
