Hired them to cater a work party after tasting the food at a different work event and loving it. I wasn’t sure how much to order, so I called in and the staff was very nice and helped me put together an order, then emailed me a quote to approve. The delivery person was prompt and courteous. Most importantly, the food was delicious. Everyone loved it and folks were excited to take home the leftovers (though we did not have a much of them). Standouts for me are the spicy Korean chicken (it’s not too spicy), the yakisoba noodles, the mac salad, and the chocolate chip cookies. Also loved the Kalua pork and the green salad. Honestly, everything they make is yummy. Will hire again.

The Local Grind catered a birthday party for us. We got to sample their food weeks before the event and it was delicious they beat out two other popular local Hawaiian restaurants. Our guests agreed; lots of comments during and after the party about how delicious the food was. Customer service was excellent. Larry came and set everything up before the party. I would definitely work with them again and will be thinking about their food until I can host another catered event. I can’t say enough good things about the food and our experience with The Local Grind!

I got the Spicy Korean Chicken Yakisoba dish. It was amazing! Not very spicy but very flavorful. My only critique is $1 for a Hawaiian roll. It’s just a Kings Hawaiian roll. I was hoping for something handmade. Either way, super friendly crew and delicious food.

We had The Local Grind cater our company picnic last week and they did a fantastic job! Everyone raved about the food—it was flavorful, fresh, and a big hit with the whole team. Larry was especially helpful with the setup and made sure everything went smoothly. The customer service throughout the process was top-notch. I ordered catering for a work event last week, the food was incredibley delicious, the order was packed perfectly and ready for pick up right on time. The owner threw in a free order of yakisoba noodles with our order which was a huge hit with my team. All of the sauces were absolutely delicious the macaroni (or crack-a-roni) was superb! I myself have catered and cook all the time and have tried to make mac salad like this and for the life of me, cannot replicate it so props to you!!
We ordered the teriyaki chicken with white and brown rice, the BBQ Kaluah pork, and tofu for our vegetarian folks (they loved it!), we had sweet Hawaiian rolls, green salad with a delicious sesame dressing and of course the yakisoba. We ordered for 16 people, and we have big eaters since we are a construction company and this was right at dinner time after a long day of work and we still had plenty of leftovers.
I am more than happy we chose the Local Grind and have been singing their praises since.
Definitely order from them, you will not be disappointed you did!

This place seems to be shut down to customers for the summer of 2023. There’s no dining, seating or entrance. I’m happy to remove this review if someone lets me know that they’re open again, but for now I suggest not trying to eat here because it’s catering only. Their website is updated, just not Google.
