We came here to kick off my mom’s 80th birthday week with Afternoon Tea, and it was perfect!

The service was friendly, welcoming and informative. The large tea room with large windows was the perfect setting on a November afternoon. The tea itself was great, and the sandwiches were delicious.

The harpist even played “Happy Birthday” for my mom, and I love how she played familiar songs as well.

The experience was very pleasant.

We had a wonderful experience at the afternoon tea service. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and our anniversary, and our waitress Kimberly treated us so well. Very kind and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious – especially the scones! It’s a neat experience whether you’re staying at the Langham or just in the area.

Service was okay, but not exceptional. Gratuity is automatically included, regardless of the size of your party.

The tea selection is quite limited, and you are only given two teapots per group, though you can change the flavors. The food was tasty, and I do appreciate that they accommodate allergies and other dietary restrictions.

Unfortunately, the experience was overpriced and underwhelming.

Did the tea lounge and one person in our group had a dairy and shellfish allergy. They had the option of giving her a vegan menu which was surprisingly tasty!! The server Magarita, was the best! She chatted with us about the hotel and history. She advised us on visiting the gardens before we left. The amount of food was plenty. There are many reviews here stating the for the amount of money spent that there should be more, I couldn’t disagree more. I don’t know what they are talking about!!! I couldn’t finish the desserts!!! The amount of food was plentiful, the tea was delicious, and whatever you can’t eat they pack it in a pink box. I didn’t care for the smoked salmon, but deserts, sandwiches and scones were delicious! Definitely coming back with the girls!
The server is able to validate the parking, parking after validation is $15.

I consider myself quite the Tea connoisseur, enthusiast, and steepster (insert cheeky laugh). We had made reservations through OpenTable to try this place out some time ago.

Upon arrival, be prepared to valet your car. The lovely entrance welcomes you to a special day.. It’s the perfect setting for your Afternoon Tea. Tables down in the (I call it) Solarium portion of the Lobby Lounge are made up of the traditional 2 or 4 tops – combining a couch with 2 chairs and your Afternoon Tea spread placed on a coffee table.

Excellent scones – moist and never crumbled when we spread the lemon curd and clotted cream on them. I would say the sandwiches were perfect! The bread was so soft, and the fillings were plentiful. My favorite was, by far, the Chicken Salad.

They prepare Tea Leaves (out of Canada) Tea OMG!!! the Vanilla Earl Grey and the Thunderbolt Darjeeling has always been my favorite from Tea Leaves and I was so happy to see it here.

I’m excited to return!

Respectfully Reviewed.

As a surprise my cousins took my daughter and I for high tea.
When we arrived my heart fluttered. The grounds are breathtaking

Our staff member was very attentive and personable. She had a bright smile and took the time to walk us through all the options presented.

We were nestled in the open window overlooking the open grounds. The day was beautiful and a light breeze made the patio divine.

I loved that they included a harpist who played a mix of both contemporary and modern music.

We didn’t stay at the resort but from what I could see I’m sure it’s a lovely stay

The Lobby Lounge was very pleasant! It’s so beautiful and relaxing there! The live music added a wonderful touch. Lots of tea choices, very fragrant. Food was almost too pretty to eat. My favorite was the dessert tier, particularly the pumpkin spice macaroon and the lemon cookie. It’s a perfect spot for a lovely Sunday (or any day) afternoon tea!

I came to lobby lounge for the Christmas tea event. It was a wonderful event. Tea was good. Food was good. Kids food looked great. I didn’t think the kids food was anything special for the price. The kids did was prepped early and the breads were already drying out. The adult food was good, but wasn’t enough. Desserts were in point and delicious.

LA doesn’t have many higher end afternoon tea options, so this one definitely stands out as one of the best. The foods, which were seasonal, were delicious and the tea was pleasant. We went on weekday morning and it was almost empty before noon, so we got one of the nice tables by the window. People started rolling in around lunch time. I can imagine the weekends are a little bit more crowded and might not have a great selection for seating (even with reservation). Great service here as well.

It was so unfortunate and it was our second time here (and the reason we came here because we liked 4 stars last time tea last visit in pretty tea room) . This time was a total disaster. They had an event and last min they called and told us yea will be in reg restaurant. No tea atmosphere surrounding experience, no harp, no relaxing music or joy and people barely even were there. They charged a service charge and brought a very small amount of sandwiches , mostly just and sweets…
Royal tea for what they brought definitely not worth over $80 each, I felt like we were ripped off. I left hungry( I wish were more sandwiches than sweets) .
Felt like ripped off. Yea we’re not refilled for us( we did ourselves) waiter just came randomly yo check on us 3 times( one time to bring check with already service charge on it)
We wanted to be this tea an amazing experience. Drove over one hr , was hoping it would be same as first time , no a total disappointment.
Plus they charged extra for dipping cream with strawberry and cream was pink and thick and no champagne or non alcoholic substitude was offered, still was charged.
This tea place going to the hole.. ️

We won’t be back.., Not worth it . Rather have full lunch per $90 per person with left overs..
Sorry..
